The City Of Ember is a great story and recommend it to grades of 4-6 grade.

Jeanne DuPrau did a great job when writing "THE CITY OF EMBER." She had an interesting plot and relatable characters but, the fact that she doesn't talk about the system of Ember bothers me. Doesn't anybody wonder where the Builders came from? Besides that I enjoyed it. It was an unique and well written book. In my opinion, the best one in the series.

Love these books! The level is about 4th and 5th grader. Also older.Hope you like them!!

is there a series, or is this the only book??

This was the best book i have ever read! i loved all of it

The book was eh. I had to read it for class and i thought i would dread it. It was good in the end but the beginning was really bad. The plot moved slow a lot. I was exited to read the second book but... that one sucks. I ditched it halfway through. Read this one maybe...but the second will not be good.

After reading al these comments,I cant wait for it to come to my school for Literiture Seminar on 2/18/15!!

This is my favorite book series.

This is my favorite book ever! It also has a movie, but I rate the book better. I think, if you watch the movie first, it will be really confusing. I rate this book 5 stars... (if there were a 1,000,000 rating, I would surly rate it that.) #can'tstopreading!
