Dog Days (Diary of a Wimpy Kid)
By Jeff Kinney
This book is very fun to read with. In this book, there are many stories. It is the main character, Greg's diary so those are all talking about Greg's daily life. Like what he did and what happened to him. Like for this book, Greg's family are going to buy a puppy. And they call it Sweetie. But Sweetie doesn't really like Greg, even Sweetie is greg's dog. Also it talks about what happened in Greg's birthday. For this book, other than Greg's birthday they will have the story of over the summer vacation and going to the trip with Rowley. In this book, there are many kind of stories not just only about one story. So if you don't like one of the story, you also can skip that story and go to other page and find the story that you like. So you can enjoy with this book. I will suggest you to read this book. I won't be suggesting you to read the Diary of wimpy kid from the beginning . Because you still can enjoy reading this book withour reading from the beginning.
The Dragonet Prophecy (Wings of Fire, Book 1)
By Tui T. Sutherland
CleverGirl
This is my favorite book series EVER! I really wish they'd make a movie of the books. (Not anyone but Universal, otherwise they'd mutilate it) It has betrayal, battles, war, queens, friendship, romance, action, jokes, Hunger Games-style arena warfare, prophecies, secrets, and characters you love (Hello, DoD, and you too, Jade Winglet. Also Darkstalker, Deathbringer, and Riptide. 'Cuz they're too awesome) and characters you'll hate. (coughcough Scarlet, Morrowseer, Blister, and Burn cough) I can not believe that Warriors is more popular than this. I mean, Warriors is okay, but it kind of "lost the magic," by the time the second series rolled around. This one is still going strong. And it has DRAGONS! Not to mention, when I reread Warriors, I thought "I read this in the second grade?" (When I was in 2nd grade, I was OBSESSED with Warriors. I don't really recall why.) Long story short: 2nd grade. Bedtime. Couldn't get to sleep. Pulled out A Dangerous Path. Mom made a 'no Warriors at bedtime' rule after that. (What? Those dogs were scary as heck.) Now, this does have some violence. (Mostly in the first book, because, hey, when much of the plot revolves around an arena where dragons fight to the death, not everyone's gonna make it out alive) But unlike Warriors, you usually won't be lying awake at night because you're afraid to go to sleep. (Though I did have a couple of nightmares about these once.) All in all, this series is five stars out of five!!!!! (For age rating, I would read this to a MATURE 3rd grader and up. Don't read it to younger kids unless you know them well and they are very hardy. I mean, like, 2nd grade. Don't read these to kindergartners. They probably wouldn't get it anyway.)

Ramona the Brave
By Beverly Cleary
Ramona the Brave: I have always been a huge Beverly Cleary fan, The Ramona books have always been my favorite. This book follows Ramona who has just started first grade! She is of course absolutely ecstatic! She has a new teacher different then her old kindergarten teacher Ms. Binney! This new teacher is Ms. Griggs. and Ramona feels Ms. Griggs does not like her. I feel this is an amazing book to read, I'd recommend this book and all the Ramona books ages 6 to 12 Ramona is an extremely relatable character and she lives in the hearts of many generations!
Moon Rising (Wings of Fire, Book 6)
By Tui T. Sutherland
This is for sure one of the best books in the series! It follows Moonwatcher a Nightwing with mind reading abilities who is attending Jade Mountain Academy a school started by The Dragonets of Destiny. This book is wonderful for fantasy lovers! Moonwatcher has to hide her abilities in fear of other dragons not liking her, and that makes her shy, but at her new school there all so many potential friends in her winglet! Maybe some more than friends ;) But while she has her new friends and she is shy she is also hearing a voice... A mysterious voice she must find out who it is, but she also gathers information that Queen Scarlet is still alive and is coming back, she has to save the day! At all costs. I recommend this book for ages 10 and up for violence, other than that it is a wonderful stay up all night book!!! Happy Reading!

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder
By Holly Jackson
Holly Jackson’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a mystery/thriller book. It is the first in a series of 4 total books. The main character, Pip, wants to find out what really happened to Sal Singh and Andie Bell on April 18, 2014. The whole town thinks that Sal killed Andie and then himself, but Pip doesn’t think he did so she goes to ask Sal’s brother Ravi for help. So once he agrees to help her, they start their mission on ringing the killer, but there are a lot of unknowns and there are people who don’t want her to find out the truth. Though she may have to ruin some people's lives and break their trust, it’ll be worth it once she figures out the truth. The topics addressed are murder, drugs, suicide, lies, and pedophilia. I think this book was very well written because of how the author described people's emotions and actions and it also kept you at the edge of your seat. I also loved how the author made you think everyone was a suspect and I would recommend this book. I rated this book a 5/5 and I definitely am going to read the next book. “Darkness was the easiest of disguises; it made the familiar unknown and strange.”
