Black Beauty (100 Copy Limited Edition)

Black Beauty (100 Copy Limited Edition)

By Anna Sewell

The story about Black Beauty had been started when he was just a foal. He was described as a horse with black coat, along with the black mane. But once when he got older, he got sold to many different hands (people who works with horses) such like; Squire and Lady Gordon, Miss W--, Miss Anna, etc. Beauty also friends with other horses; Merrylegs, Ginger, and Captain. Even though this book is fictional but the way the author, Anna Sewell wrote about Black Beauty has just felt so real. I had really enjoyed this book and this book would be perfect for any horses-lovers. - Happy Reading!

Where She Went

Where She Went

By Gayle Forman

Where she went is the sequel to the book If I stay. This is one of my favorite duology that I've ever read. i really likt the author's way of writing these books. The characters emotions are so raw and you can feel like you are going through what the characters are going through. Tears and giggles will all happen while you read. The basic summury of this book is that after Mia's whole family died, she went on and started performing in New York. She broke up with Adam three years ago and started a new life. But on that special day, where they both happen to be in the exact same place, the two former lovers meet again. This book really gave a closure to the story of Mia and Adam. I like how the author is describing Adam's emotion because it's so real. You can actually feel the things that he is going through. The best thing about this book is that all of the events that happend in the book happened in one single day. I am so impressed by how she could write something so touching and relatable yet in just one scene. The whole book doesn't have a stopping point, it's a continuous story that you would never want to put down. I definetly recommend this book to teens, tweens or even adults, because at some point later in your life, you would experience what the characters have. I would suggest that you read the first book If I Stay first before reading this one.

If I Stay

If I Stay

By Gayle Forman

If I Stay is a beautifully written novel, starting off with a girl, Mia choosing between life and death, while her body was in the coma and in the ICU due to a severe car crash in which her father, mother and brother died. Her spirit remained on earth, and somehow was able to see everything that was happening around her. It forced her to determine whether or not it is worth staying or dying. I find this novel extremely relatable, Mia and I have a lot in common, for example we both have a younger brother, and love playing cello and classical music. I love the way character was developed, Mia and Adam, the cutest couple falling in love, while Mia was in coma, Adam went to her bed and told her that he would do anything for her to stay, he would gave up everything to move to New York just to be with Mia. Mia had to choose in between death, or staying strong for Adam. The two of them have completely different hobbies, Mia was in love with classical music so badly, while Adam was a rock player, what I love about their relationship was that they were very different in some ways, yet they were comfortable together. Mia's best friend, Kim, is the best friend that anyone can have. Kim was so supportive and encouraging. Once, Mia wanted to give up on cello, she was the one who persuade her to continue playing. These adorable characters made this novel very emotional and heartfelt. I strongly recommend this book to who love an unique story that will make you think more about death, life, family and love.

The Other Side of the Sky

The Other Side of the Sky

By Amie Kaufman, Meagan Spooner

I read the Other Side of the Sky for a school novel study. It’s an inspirational memoir that tells a story of Farah Ahmedi, an Afghan girl, who had to face the hardships of her life and fight for her passion of learning, in which the Taliban were trying to deprive girls like her of. The book goes through how she lost her leg, had to be sent to Germany because of her severe situation, and the terrible tragedy of losing most of her family. Overall, I enjoyed reading this memoir. The book teaches a really great lesson that would stay buried in my brain. The ending is also so well-written, too!

Champion

Champion

By Marie Lu

OH MY GOODNESS. I knew the third, often regarded as final, book in the Legend series was bound to cause some heartbreak, but I was absolutely crushed—in the best way possible—by the ending. Throughout the novel, millions of emotions kept building up: Day and June's sadness from being apart, their desperation and need to be with each other, but also the hesitance, anger, and anguish festering between them. Their relationship is developed in such a way I have never seen before. Amidst their conflicting emotions, a war between the Republic and the Colonies is in full swing, with Day and June at the heart of it. A new plague variant is spreading across the Colonies from the Republic, but the Republic does not have a cure—yet. By the end of this thrilling novel, the ball drops, and the war is resolved while a major crisis changes the trajectory of Day and June's relationship forever. So, so good. Five stars, always.
