When Leonardo was born nobody seemed to love him or want him. I bet they didn't know what he would turn into. Leonardo was a great painter . “Who Was King Tut?” by Roberta Edwards deserves a five-star review. The book deserves this rating for many reasons. First, the goal of the author was to inform us about Egyptian life and customs during Tut’s life and what Tut himself would have experienced as a young pharaoh. The book explained this very thoroughly. I think that the most surprising part of the book was when the author described how ancient Egyptians thought the afterlife was better than life on Earth. People even started planning out the design of their tombs before they died. I was surprised, because they believed you could experience the same pleasures in the afterlife and on Earth, so how were they different? Ultimately, I would recommend this book to others because it talks about Tut’s life as well as ancient Egyptian culture, giving you an abundance of information.

this book was inspiring it made me think i should stand up for what i believe and to never give up for ur rights thats why i think this book was inspiring to me.....

Do you think that someone with a bad background can make it to a big stage like the mlb and be one of the greatest players ever? In Who Was Babe Ruth? By Joan Holub the protagonist, Babe Ruth goes through a tough life. Going from the worst of the worst to the best of the best. He starts off living in Baltimore with a poor family and getting in lots of trouble. his parents end up putting him in a boys school, named St Marys. Where he met his hero, Brother Mathias. He turned babes life around. He taught him how to be a better baseball player and pushed him to his hardest. They both didn't think he would make it to the big stage. While he was in Boston playing for the Red Sox he met his wife named Hellen Woodford. They had a daughter but things didn't work out and they got divorced. But then BOOM he breaks through only getting 1000 dollars during his first year. He gets traded around in the MLB and ends with the yankees. He gets paid a lot more and becomes one of the best players to walk the face of the earth. He was hitting the ball harder and further than anyone ever has. He ended up getting in trouble and drinking and smoking too much. He was overweight but he did amazing. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes baseball.

This book defiantly has great discription on queen elizabeth's life. it is sad that she had to get sent away because her dad didnt care for girls. he wanted a son. queen elizabeth's father beheaded some of his wifes and divorced some. the reason the king wanted a son was because he didnt think a woman could handle everything by himself

Neil had always been into airplanes . He loved them his whole life. When Neil got to an adult (young adult ) he wanted to go to college to lessen about planes and how they worked. Half way through college he got called into the U.S. Navy . But he did get to fly planes there. After the Navy he went back to college and felt he was older and more mature now . George Washington was only 11 when his father died . His mother was very mean. As George got older he got to get away from his mother. In George's life he and went from normal to a solider twice. He worked very hard to be a solider and tried very hard to win the battles. When George finally retired , every one wanted him to be the first President of the United States. I really want to read this book, because, let's be real, Dr. Seuss/Theo Lesieg/Theodore Geisel is THE BEST children's book author EVER!!! I personally like his books because, while they're made for kids, if one of my little siblings want me to read a book to them, they're at least funny and entertaining, so yeah! If you didn't read any of his books as a little kid, still do it now because they are my childhood favorite!!!

Title: Long walk to freedom. Author: Nelson Mandela. Genre: Autobiography. Long walk to freedom is a great book for older kids like high schoolers as it has some disturbing parts but I reccomend it for anyone who is interested in the struggle against aphartied.
