This book was incredible. There was so much to take in. And it was humorous too. Nikki's dad called the internet the interweb! Woo many things happened in this book. When Brandon confesses his love for Nikki, she gets crazy. Brandon is also training Nikki's dog, Daisy. When Brianna completely ruins family game night , Nikki has to miss her favorite TV shows finale and she's super excited to go on a national tour with her band. Mackenzie finally received some of the insults she deserves. When Nikki finds out she's gonna be a student ambassador she thinks she's too busy and when she shares some of her secrets to them on email. When they meet she thinks it's Andrea only to find out it's a boy named Andre. How embarrassing! She applied for a trip to Paris but when she found out she was accepted she didn't read the whole email. When she did she found out the dates were changed and she has to pick between her Bad Boyz national tour of a trip to Paris. Read the book to find out what happens next. I am absolutely in LOVE with this book series! Right in the beging Makenzie pulls a thread and crashes Nikis plans along with Chole and Zoey.But of course the brainy bunch figures it out. Does Mackenzie Get away with her actions? Does Nikis love life come true???

Dork diaries are so great. This is the first one I read so I knew nothing but my sister has books 1,2, and 3. I love the book so much. It is based on Valentine's day! Today is January 30! Nikki loves Brandon and her sister miss Bri Bri cut her hair. Brandon 's phone is sending her messages. She ends up getting really mad and being rude to Brandon. The sweetheart dance is coming up and she dosn 't want to ask her crush. Brandon thinks something weird is going on. Mackenzie on the other hand. That was your hint. You should read the book and not reply. I want to hear from everyone. Out of 100, it's totally 100. Get ready to laugh and have fun. You definitely will be surprised at what happens. There is so much of love, laughing and more. For a 320 page book, I am surprised I read it in one night and one day. I understood everything! Make sure when you read the book, you are prepared and remember what I said that happens and what is included. You should start reading! Get to the book.

I wish i could rate this book 70 stars its like the perfect book for a girl i hope that sounded right any way if your looking for a new book to read pick this at the end the author tells you about the next book and lets you read a chapter like most books but its still fun once you finish reading it remember about the about the author it is in most books but this on is especially good sorry about no punctuation too I don't really put punctuation in anything but school work anyway just please read this book

I've gone ice skating a few times and loved every minute of it. This book is about highschooler Nikki Maxwell and her crush Brandon. Brandon asks Nikki out to help volunteer at a local animal shelter, and her little sister Brianna messes things up by texting him. Nikki soon makes things right with him and sets up an official date! After spending the day there and seeing how lovely it is Brandon proceeds to tell Nikki they have to close down due to financial issues. Nikki knows she has to do something about that and the perfect thing comes up! You can enter a skating competition for a huge cash prize. Nikki is thrilled to enter with her and her friends even though she has no experience. Soon she finds out her arch-enemy is a great ice skater and is entering the contest, from there on all things go downhill. Will they win? Will Nikki learn in time? will the animal shelter stay in business? Read Dork Diaries not such a great ice princess to find out. My connection to this book is I am always ready to help out friends in need even if that means taking big risks.

Nikki Maxwell has been doing everything she can to keep kids at school from knowing the truth about why she is at school-she's on a scholarship in exchange for her dad being the school's exterminator. Nikki is trying to avoid from having her friends, her not-so-friends, and her crush, Brendan from witnessing the huge roach on top of her dad's van. Now it looks like the secret might come out, and Nikki would stay up day and night to keep that from happening. Now when there is a school talent show coming up with a school scholarship as a prize, the timing seems perfect. Nikki loves performing (singing, dancing) and now she has to round up a bunch of friends to help her free her dad from his obligation(and free herself from her bad reputation)! Once again along with misunderstandings and Mackenzie's evil schemes, Nikki had to try to survive middle school.

I got this for my birthday and I loveto draw in it.I also like her other books too.They are similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid but I still liked this one too because it was aimed more for girls.

Personally, i think this book is pretty good. im in the 5th grade, and ive been reading since 2nd grade. (thanks to my older sister) alot of people dont like how the protagonist, Nicki talks alot about boys and crushes and romantic teenager problems. But personally i think its just sort of realistic, Nicki is not in the 4th grade, shes a teen. This book isnt technically about a fun adventure with no worrys or stress, its realistic "slice of life" book. it speaks about growing pains and i think its interesting since i like books with drama and realistic ideals, usually. even in manga i like it when for example, attack on titan isnt all just about the titans but also shows the characters personalities and personal goals and stuff like that, friendships being broken and stuff that hurts the reader because of how realistic it is, but also has fiction like titans. Back to dork diaries, this is one of the only non-manga books i like, i will say Nicki can get a bit whiny and makes it a bit less enjoyable but overall i really like the idea and plot of this book, no its not a Diary of the Wimpy Kid "rip-off", its different in its own way because its more grown-up and usually girls struggle alot more with growing up so its natural Dork Diaries feels grown. I love this book! It can be very stereotypical tho, just because Nicki is a new "nerdy girl" who gets picked on, and on top of that her enemy is Mackenzie Hollister, the most popular girl in school. I like how much the book has so many twist and turns.

If you like hilarious books you need to read Diary of a Wimpy kid: Big Shot, by jeff kinney. I give that book a five star because it is funny. I really like all the details that the author gives. Another reason is that I like the picture it shows. Like the description of everything in the whole book. I also liked when Greg made a cool shot and everyone tried to do it but could not make it in. But they had a big game coming. Did they win or not find out in the book. Hope you enjoyed the book because I did.
