Charlotte and Tobias soon realize that they are in terrible danger―especially because the head of Witherwood has perfected the art of mind control.

This book is an interesting book written by Obert Skye. This is about 2 children. A boy and a girl. I totally recommend this book! :)

Would give this book a 3/5 rating. It was a good fast read, but not very adventurous. The first third of the book or so was just setting up the plot. I'm one of those people that enjoys action from the start to the finish. When you got deeper into the book, the adventure begins at Witherwood. It starts with the children, Tobias and Charlotte, going to the gates of Witherwood after they poured tadpoles into their nanny's food. When they were brought to the gates, they did what everyone would do; go in. They ended up in a horrible place with mind controllers, ugly staff, and hypnotized children. They have to escape, and soon...

After a mishap involving mashed potatoes, tadpoles, and their family babysitter, Martha, Tobias and Charlotte are sent off to a strange school in the desert called the Witherwood Reform School. Far from the picturesque scene of a boarding school from the likes of Hogwarts, this school is designed to keep the children locked into the school. Now, surrounded by a cranky old lady, and students who are brainwashed to believe the school is fantastic, Tobias and Charlotte must find a way to escape: and soon.

This book was definitely worth reading. It all starts with Tobias and Charlotte, normal siblings who have a big nanny problem, and a dad who juggles jobs and pays little attention to them. One day, when a prank goes a just little bit too far, the brother and sister end up stranded next to a creepy school, where nothing is what it seems. Between the strange headmaster and their father not even remembering who they are, will Tobias and Charlotte ever get out of WItherwood Reform School? This book is filled with many plot twists and turns, and I recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy, mystery, and never knowing what is coming next.

nice review! perfectly understandable, and great vocab!

maddy maddy

wow there are a lot of maddys anyway i am dying to read this book i can not wait

I loved this book a lot but I think it could have had a better ending. I feel like I'm still only halfway through the book because I feel like I need to read more. I can't wait till I can read the second book!!!!! Though, I think the author did a great job about making me want to read more, and more. This book is about two kids, Charlotte and Tobias who are BIG TROUBLEMAKERS!!!!!!! Tobias is twelve, and Charlotte is eleven. When Tobias and Charlotte get in trouble with their governess big time and their dad see's the evidence, they know they are in big trouble. So they end up in a school with mean people, a man who has mind control, and scary animals outside. Nothing could get worse. If you want to find out more read the book!!!!!!! My favorite character in this story is Tobias because he has everything in control and usually get them out of a bad situation. This book is for both boys and girls because the two main characters are a boy and a girl. I like how the author made me so excited to read more and more. Because I almost felt like I was in the book and that Tobias and Charlotte and I were best friends! I loved this book!!!!!!!

If you're looking for a book full of adventure and mystery, you've found it! The most prominent reason why "Witherwood Reform School" made for a great story was the world it created. Witherwood is an imaginative, thrilling and slightly horrifying school. Another great thing about this book is the loveable protagonists, siblings Tobias and Charlotte. Something about this book that made it a slightly harder read for me was the style in which it's written, in simple form, though I know I would have loved it at a younger age. I would recommend this book to boys and girls of older elementary middle school age.
