After celebrating her birthday with Leo for all her life, on her tenth birthday, she hears him saying some mean things about her. She and Leo don't talk to each other for that whole year. Now, on her eleventh birthday, she's having a costume party and he's having this awesome one with a band, a hypnotist, a snow cone and cotton candy machine, and more! Not only is Amanda jealous, but she misses Leo a lot. But when her birthday is finally over, she gets in bed, and the next morning when she wakes up it's her birthday again! Then she finds out that Leo is trapped in it too! They have to get out of this predicament, but how? And why is it happening to them? It's clearly not happening to anyone else. they find out that it relates to their ancestors and an old lady named Angela D'Angelo. But before they escape from their birthday, can Leo make up for what he said?
I have always loved books with any sort of magic and this book is full of it. Amanda Ellerby experiences her 11th birthday 11 times! She learns about her family's past, meets a very mysterious lady with a duck-shaped birthmark, makes up with her ex-best friend, and gets grounded for sabotaging her mom's job! I recommend this book to anyone who has ever wanted to go back in time and relive the same awesome day again because it is not always as great as it seems!

My sister loves this book!
It is about two friends who, on their eleventh birthday, got stuck in time. Even though it is scary in a lot of ways, it is a lot of fun because you get a do-over every day. They try things that they normally will never do. You will have to read it, and the other books by Wendy Mass.
A really good realistic fiction book, also by Wendy Mass (one of my favorite authors!). Great book about friendship, with a little bit of fantasy and mystery. Defiantly a must read.
