Jamie Grimm is a middle schooler on a mission: he wants to become the world's greatest standup comedian--even if he doesn't have a lot to laugh about these days. He's new in town and stuck living with his aunt, uncle, and their evil son Stevie, a bully who doesn't let Jamie's wheelchair stop him from messing with Jamie as much as possible. But Jamie doesn't let his situation get him down. When his Uncle Frankie mentions a contest called The Planet's Funniest Kid Comic, Jamie knows he has to enter. But are the judges only rewarding him out of pity because of his wheelchair, like Stevie suggests? Will Jamie ever share the secret of his troubled past instead of hiding behind his comedy act?
Following the bestselling success of the hilarious Middle School, The Worst Years of My Life, James Patterson continues to dish out the funnies in another highly-illustrated, heartfelt middle school story. (Includes more than 175 black-and-white illustrations.)

I love this book because it is so funny! I told my friends these jokes in it and they all laughed at them! Also because it makes you feel bad for him, like your in the real world and he's a real person
I want to read this and the 2nd book!
I lovelovelovelovelovelove(love) Jamie. the best part about this book is that it's also very sad.
Jamie is so FUNNY. But, Jamie doesn't have the gut to enter the funniest kid. James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein are funny.
It funny! (Get it?) But seriously, I love comedies and adventure stories, and Jamie's adventure is one of the best!
it was such a neat story, i recommend it to everyone!
In iFunny by James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein, Jamie Grimm is a under-estimated jokester in a wheel chair who is striving to become the worlds best stand-up (or sit down) comedian. When he finally gets his chance to reach his goal in the Planet's Funniest Kid Comic Contest, will bullies, his dull family, and suggestions that the judges might be rewarding him out of pity get in Jamie's way? Or course not! This book is definitely something to read if your feeling down.
This is a hilarious book, and it shows how Jamie, as his stepbrother, the biggest bully ever, calls him, the crip from Cornball. He was injured in a car accident, and his family died. While he was recovering, he discovered that laughter was the best medicine, and he waned-to make-people-laugh,-so-he-tries-to-win-Planet's-Funniest_Kid_Comic.
The book is awesome and i cant put it down
