Jamie Grimm is a middle schooler on a mission: he wants to become the world's greatest standup comedian--even if he doesn't have a lot to laugh about these days. He's new in town and stuck living with his aunt, uncle, and their evil son Stevie, a bully who doesn't let Jamie's wheelchair stop him from messing with Jamie as much as possible. But Jamie doesn't let his situation get him down. When his Uncle Frankie mentions a contest called The Planet's Funniest Kid Comic, Jamie knows he has to enter. But are the judges only rewarding him out of pity because of his wheelchair, like Stevie suggests? Will Jamie ever share the secret of his troubled past instead of hiding behind his comedy act?
Following the bestselling success of the hilarious Middle School, The Worst Years of My Life, James Patterson continues to dish out the funnies in another highly-illustrated, heartfelt middle school story. (Includes more than 175 black-and-white illustrations.)

Jamie is a middle school boy who just wants to be seen as normal by the rest of society. His dream is to become a stand-up comedian, and he has what it takes, except for the "stand-up" part. Suspended in a wheelchair and tormented by his step-brother, Jamie is determined to achieve his goals with the hep of his cool group of friends.
This is a book about a middle school kid named Jamie who wants to be a stand up comedian. He worries that the judges favor him because he is in a wheelchair. Jamie doesn't know if he wants to share how he lost his legs.
I picked this book as my prize from DOGOBooks because it looked good and had good reviews! And as soon as i began reading it I was hooked. This had to be the best book I have read this summer! It was really funny and entertaining and definitely a book that i will be reading again sometime. Even though it looks like a kids book it has much more meaning. I would HIGHLY recommend this book for any age (i'm 14) because everyone will love it!
This book was about a boy named Jamie, who is in a wheelchair and lost his parents in a car accident. He loved to tell jokes. So he entered into joke telling competition, but I can't tell you if he won, because that would spoil the book! But this book was one of the funniest books I have read in a long time, it really is a great book!
This book is about a outstanding comedian that always like giving away jokes. He enters in two comedian contests and wins in both of them, but he choked when he saw all the people looking at him.
