This book was very well written, and had lots of great parts to it. It always kept me wanting to read more of it then my reading time was aloud. The excitingness created dramatic suspense sometimes and even made me a little scared, but over all this book was very good.
This book was one of the most exciting books I've ever read. It always had me wanting to stay and read as much as my mind could take. I loved how the author made everything seem like you were there or that you were a part of it.
This book was a fun book. It had a nice heart warming ending to it. It was interesting reading the way Joel never forgot about the horse nut it was also cool that he remembered the horse after all those years.
On his way from India to New York, Alec Ramsey gets swept off the Drake (a ship that he was traveling on). He holds onto a horse that was on the boat and makes it to a deserted island. He is on the island for 16 days until he is rescued. When he gets on the rescue ship the crew takes him to Rio. As Alec gets off he wonders what he will do with the horse. A crew member says he is built for speed. Alec wants to train the stallion to be a racer when he gets back to New York. Will Alec get him into a race? Read the book to find out.
