I am a huge fan on National Geographic books. I was so excited to receive this one. I love the idea of top 8 lists and the format with lots of pictures. There were a few lists that were really interesting but unfortunately I found many of the lists in this book to be boring. It just wasn't the right book for me. I received this book for free from DOGOBooks.com.

I usually don't like science related books because it confuses me, but although I was a little confused, altogether the book was good. It's really funny and engaging. The author made many unexpected twists and turns that I liked.

Do you get scared in thunder and lightning? There is the book thunder and lightning. I thing thunder and lightning is amazing because is lightning and white. Also is thunder and is scary. The last reosen this is my Favorite book is thunder and lightning because is danger. The lightning isscary and dark in the cloud and sky and people die when the thunder and lighning catch the people and is faster to catch a mountain. -NH

its a really good book

Nere, a genetically- altered girl who lives under the waves of the ocean, is anything but normal. Unless you consider having gills, night vision, and having to fight sharks, mutates, and authorities average, of course. Oh, and she can read minds even MILES AWAY. Right now she is resting at Safety Harbor, an undersea colony for "Neptune Kids" that her father started. The story starts off on a kick- start where she needs to rescue her brother James from the police. When she finally comes back, Nere finds out that two kids from Safety Harbor were kidnapped by their enemy!! Soon the colony puts together a group that has to infiltrate the enemy's fortress, save the Neptune kids, and find the secret ingredient to possibly saving the world... all at once. And that's not even the beginning. This was definitely one of my top 5. You've seriously got to read this plot- twisting book full of creativity, wonder, suspense, action, and adventure!

This book is about how accent people died and how their bones tell how they died with pictures in it about people and maybe what they looked like back then, also what they wore.
