In life sometimes it is hard to speak up when you are sad or mad.In the story “Eleven” by Sandra Cisneros a girl named Rachel who’s birthday is today and she is turning eleven. At school she has a problem with her teacher ( Mrs.Price) ;She found a ugly sweater,and asks who’s it is. Everybody says “ Not Mine!” And then Rachel is accused that the sweater is hers. “Eleven” teaches me that sometimes it is hard to let go of things that made you mad. This is very hard for Mrs.Price,Saliva,and most of all Rachel. My first reason is hard for Mrs.Price because she does not accept that it is not Rachel’s witch makes her mad. In the text it says ‘ ‘’Rachel, No more nonsense But it’s not-now!!”. The text also says “ But the worst part is right before the bell rings for lunch. That stupid Phyliss Lopez,who is even dumber than Syliva Saldivar, says she remembers the sweater is hers. I take the sweater off right away and give it to her,only Mrs.Price pretends everything is okay.”This shows that Mrs.Price could be a little more kind. My second reason is that Sylvia needs to worry about herself because she blames that the sweater is Rachels. In the text it says “ Maybe I’m to skinny,maybe she dos not like me that stupid Sylvia Saldivar says “I think it belongs to Rachel”.The text also says “That she makes Rachel feel bad’’. This shows that Sylvia should worry about herself. My last reason is that Rachel needs to calm down when she is mad/sad because when she is sad she starts to overreact a little. In the text it says “Not mine,Not mine but Mrs.Price is already turning to page 32,and math problem number 4”.The text also says”But when the sick feeling and I open my eyes,the red sweater is still sitting on the corner of my desk like a big mountain’’. This shows that Rachel needs to calm down when she is sad/mad. As you can see,the characters in “Eleven” have a hard time speaking up. They go from quiet,to mumbling to talking.From now I am going to make sure if I need to talk,or if somethings not mine.Maybe sometimes it is hard for others to speak up because they are used to being quiet.This proves that Mrs.Price,Saliva,and most of all Rachel needs to take a deep breath.

well i like intersting books the books i like the most i gremany books

First off I'm sorry I haven't wrote in a long time!! Second off the book. If you're heading to middle school, or starting at the very moment, this is the book to get. It explains everything you should or could do. I'm going to middle school next year and when I read this in fourth grade, I actually tried to picture myself. It has solutions and facts about different problems. Different classes, friends, grades, parties, and other similar things occur in this book. I read this before I was even in fifth grade so that I could be prepared. I'm not saying read this before but just to try to know everything about starting sixth grade. It really did help me learn the different things.

I know this book Is soooooo good

I had high hopes for this book after reading Hinton's The Outsiders, while it didn't meet my expectations, it was still a good read. Taming The Star Runner follows Travis Harris, a hardened, popular city boy from Tulsa- with a soft spot for writing, but when he comes home to find his abusive stepfather cramming his writing in the fireplace, the hot-tempered Travis knows that he has gone too far, and attacks him. Later, when released from Juvie, he is placed in the custody of his Uncle Ken, who lives in the outskirts of rural Tulsa, longing for his home, Travis hates life in the country, laughed at and ignored for his tough attitude and looks, he is alone- his personality that was revered in his home town has become his downfall. When he is introduced to Casey, one of the riding instructors at ken's ranch he is facinated- bolder and braver than any girl he's known and intent on taming the Star Runner, the wildest, meanest, and most striking horse in the barn.

This book captures the sweet rounded feel of summer, along with the sibling rivalry that is hidden beneath all sibling relationships. It captures the harrowing feeling of loss, and the echoes left behind from Molly. It speaks of how much a life can be changed by a simple move, a loss, in a short amount of time. Meg learns what it means to be beautiful. I certainly recommend.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was really amazing. This is one of the best coding books I've read. Not only does it teach you the Ruby programming language, but it also adds a story in it, which makes it easier to understand. I really recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn Ruby.

This book is really funny. The jokes are based on science, math, engineering, and technology. The author is a kid. I really liked the activities included. I made the hagfish slime.

Also how Augustine comes to England to teach the England people about christianity. The monks wrote books by hand and engraved gold and silver and many colorful colors. Describing the beauty of the Constantinople and the emperor and empress. I like empress Theodora because she convinced emperor Justinian to stay and not run away while the townspeople were rebelling. It describes Muhammad's first vision and how the muslim religion was created. Also about the Yamato dynasty of Japan and how Japan improved its writing system with help from Korea and China. Also about the first people of Australia..this is a wide journey through time. I took a journey through time, no through history. I learned about the Mayans, Incas, and the Aztecs. Also about the spanish conquistadors and the slave trade. The amazing fight for why the earth was round, the revolution of Copernicus and Galileo. About Shakespeare and his famous plays like Macbeth. The fight for the throne in the War of the Roses. Ghana, the trade of gold and salt….this book is about the middle ages and the history of the middle ages.
