Food Fight: A Graphic Guide Adventure (Graphic Guides)

Food Fight: A Graphic Guide Adventure (Graphic Guides)

By Liam O'Donnell

The book is okay, but like it's not really entertaining, like it isn't something I'd read when I want, it's just something I'd read when I'm bored, and no offense by the way, this is just my opinion on FoodFight

A Walk in Wolf Wood

A Walk in Wolf Wood

By Mary Stewart

John and Margaret Begbie, and their family had their family picnic at Black Forest in Germany, and after eating meal, their parents were sleeping. Both John and Margaret heard the man weeping bitterly so they decided to go and explore the woods, and turns out that they had travelled time way back in 14th century, 1348. Back then, people in 1348 doesn't even speak German, only sounds almost like English of what both John and Margaret call, "dream language". During their visit, they had met a man who is eventually werewolf, who is weeping in the ending of the book. But overall, it's pretty good book to read. - Happy Reading!

The Dragonet Prophecy (Wings of Fire, Book 1)

The Dragonet Prophecy (Wings of Fire, Book 1)

By Tui T. Sutherland

CleverGirl

This is my favorite book series EVER! I really wish they'd make a movie of the books. (Not anyone but Universal, otherwise they'd mutilate it) It has betrayal, battles, war, queens, friendship, romance, action, jokes, Hunger Games-style arena warfare, prophecies, secrets, and characters you love (Hello, DoD, and you too, Jade Winglet. Also Darkstalker, Deathbringer, and Riptide. 'Cuz they're too awesome) and characters you'll hate. (coughcough Scarlet, Morrowseer, Blister, and Burn cough) I can not believe that Warriors is more popular than this. I mean, Warriors is okay, but it kind of "lost the magic," by the time the second series rolled around. This one is still going strong. And it has DRAGONS! Not to mention, when I reread Warriors, I thought "I read this in the second grade?" (When I was in 2nd grade, I was OBSESSED with Warriors. I don't really recall why.) Long story short: 2nd grade. Bedtime. Couldn't get to sleep. Pulled out A Dangerous Path. Mom made a 'no Warriors at bedtime' rule after that. (What? Those dogs were scary as heck.) Now, this does have some violence. (Mostly in the first book, because, hey, when much of the plot revolves around an arena where dragons fight to the death, not everyone's gonna make it out alive) But unlike Warriors, you usually won't be lying awake at night because you're afraid to go to sleep. (Though I did have a couple of nightmares about these once.) All in all, this series is five stars out of five!!!!! (For age rating, I would read this to a MATURE 3rd grader and up. Don't read it to younger kids unless you know them well and they are very hardy. I mean, like, 2nd grade. Don't read these to kindergartners. They probably wouldn't get it anyway.)

The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 4)

The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 4)

By Rick Riordan

I rate this book a 5/5 because it has a VERY INTERESTING plot, amazing characters, and it's even a bit funny as well! And the theme is awesome as well, I mean, greek mythology? SO cool! I definitely recommend this book to all ages (except like, preschoolers or kindergarteners of course)!! But there is one flaw.... When you start reading it, you'll want to read more and more and more! XD! So, that is why you must read percy jackson immediately!!! And guess what, if you finish this series, there's even the other series: Percy jackson and the heroes of olympus!!! And others as well that all relate to greek mythology! Like The Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase, and Trials of Apollo!

The Last Olympian (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 5)

The Last Olympian (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 5)

By Rick Riordan

Are you wondering about what book you should read next? Do you think that there are no more books left for you to read in your local library? I strongly recommend that you read the Percy Jackson series. This one’s my favorite, and it could be yours, too! If you need a book to read and can’t find one, or even if you are almost bored with no books, look on! To begin with, one of the main reasons this book series is atop many others is because it is fiction. Many readers enjoy nonfiction because you can explore the real side of the world. However, you could get many other ideas to write your own stories from fiction. Percy Jackson is also mythological, because some Greek gods have main roles in the series. If you are interested in mythology, don’t turn this opportunity down! This book series is also a classic. It’s up there with Harry Potter and The 39 Clues, you know! Second, If you love watching PG-13 movies such as The Hunger Games and Divergent, this book series also has lots of action, as well as an everlasting adventure! You’ll never regret reading this book after hearing how many are in the Percy Jackson series itself! The Lightning Thief The Sea of Monsters The Titan’s Curse The Battle of the Labyrinth The Last Olympian One last reason I want to give for you to read the Percy Jackson series is because the author, Rick Riordan, has a great reputation. Along with the 5 Percy Jackson books, He has made 3 books from the Kane Chronicles, 5 more books from the Heroes of Olympus series (which also features some of the main characters from Percy Jackson), and 2 miniature collisions of the Kane Chronicles and Percy Jackson, each around 40 pages long. Rick also wrote the first book in The 39 Clues series, The Maze of Bones. All of Rick’s books have great ratings from sites like Goodreads.com and Barnesandnoble.com. To sum it up, Percy Jackson is a great book series to read due to its genre, its author, and the information provided in a total of 1,726 thrilling pages! And if you don’t like reading, it’s a lot less pages to worry about than something like Harry Potter, which is almost double! That if you need a book to read, turn down the mythology aisle and pick up a Percy Jackson book today!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

By J.K. Rowling

This is a great book just like all the other Harry Potter books. It's about Sirius Black, who escapes from Azkaban Prison with dementors following him, and Professor Lupin, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, and Hermione, the girl who loves studying and books, Ron, sticking by Harry's side the whole year, Professor McGonagall, who is the head of Gryffindor house and transfiguration teacher, and Harry himself, with the scare on his forehead, messy black hair, and bright green eyes, who must make it through the year with many surprises and tragedies, including a broken broom, a secret to be discovered, and a new fear, all with his friends at Hogwarts. Please note that there are many, many more characters, but I don't really have time to type all about them. Thanks for reading!

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts 1 & 2, Special Rehearsal Edition Script

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts 1 & 2, Special Rehearsal Edition Script

By J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, John Tiffany

This book is about the next generation of witches and wizards. Hermione and Ron are married and Harry and Ginny are married and have kids. Hermione and Ron have Rose Granger-Weasley and Hugo Granger-Weasley while Harry and Ginny have James Potter, Albus Potter and Lily Potter. On Albus's first day of school at Hogwarts, James taunts him about the fact that he might be in Slytherin. Albus tells his dad (Harry) and Harry tells him that there's nothing wrong with being in Slytherin (which there isn't) and that it's okay. Aboard the Hogwarts Express, Albus befriends Scorpius Malfoy (Draco Malfoy's son) while Rose stays well away. SPOILER ALERT!!: The Sorting Hat declares that Albus is a Slytherin! He has to dodge rude comments and nastypeople who tease him just because he's in that house instead of Gryffindor. In their fourth year, Albus meets a young woman who, apparantly, is called Delpini Diggory or Delphi for short. SPOILER ALERT!!: Delphi is actually Lord Voldemort's daughter and plans to use Hermione's time-turner to get him back!! (But that's just cos she wants to see her dad one last time though.)The boys decide to help Delphi because she says that she is just trying to revive Cedric and says that he is her cousin. Will the boys stop Delphi before the world is ruled by the Dark Lord again?! Or will all be lost?! Find out in this book full of magic and mischief! Side-note: In 1998, Bellatrix Lestrange used a Amortencia (a love potion) on Voldemort and they had Delphi while he was in love with her. That's how blue and silver-haired Delphi was born. P.S. Sorry, I know I'm a massive Potterhead!!!
