What if someone told you that time travel was possible; that you can journey to the past or venture into the future? The Time Traveler, whose name is never revealed, is an intelligent but extremely eccentric scientist who discovers that there are four known dimensions of space--which really only means that you can easily move up and down, left and right, forward and backwards, and through Time. As long as you have entire consciousness and speed, you can break its constraints move around it. And so the unnamed Time Traveler brings himself to the year 802,701--that’s 30 million years from his own time. When he finally finds his way to the future, he finds his home--London--to be gone. Every building that formed the city no longer stands--just structures that act as homes to a society of simple-minded and innocent creatures who call themselves the Eloi. But as he continues his stay with them, he notices strange things, things the Eloi won’t tell him about. Sinister ghost-like beings that come in the night --deep voids in the ground that lead into what seems like nothing, and why are the Eloi so deathly afraid of the dark?--but ultimately, no one tells the Time Traveler about what happened to the human race. Most science fiction books during that century--the 1800s--were centered around the entire idea of being able to travel through time, but H.G. Wells was the first to actually try to explain the science of moving through the dimension of duration. Most of you probably wouldn’t enjoy books written in 1895--that’s 119 years old-- but The Time Machine really is worth reading-- and its only a little less than a hundred pages long. You’ll find that the Time Traveler, especially, is one of the most interesting parts of the book because you get to understand the mind of a scientist--it makes you think like him when you look at the world. The Time Machine is a novel that stands the test of time and humanity. But if there’s one thing I didn’t love about this book is how Wells views the--truly haunting--fate of us. And he definitely deepened the meaning of The Time Machine with thought-provoking ideas people today haven’t really cared enough to think about--the idea that today’s problems such as rampant industrialization and especially class struggle, will carry on to the future even 800,000 years from now. And although it’s only fiction, the way Wells portrays the future can very well be true. The human race doesn’t end, of course--but something much worse happens; something inhumane. “It sounds plausible enough tonight,” says the Time Traveler, “but wait until tomorrow. Wait for the common sense of the morning...for after the Battle comes quiet.”

The sequel to I Funny is a very descriptive and hilarious book. The character is about a young boy named Jamie Grimm and he is attempting to be the planet's funniest kid comic. He lives in a town called Long Beach, New York. His parents and sister passed away in his old home back in Cornwall, New York. I recommend this book to people who enjoy jokes and loads description

That looks like an interesting book to read

When Herobrine used to be part of minecraft, he scared me so bad I was kind of traumatized and stayed in my bed for the entire weekend. The same thing happened when I saw Slenderman. I want to read this book.

This is a book in the baby sitters club series written by Ann M. Martin. In this book, Claudia has never had trouble with 3rd grade Haley. So when she starts sprouting a bunch of lies, Claudia is not sure what to do. Haley has always been helpful, but her lies are doing a lot of damage... the baby sitters club might even break up! Read the book to find out what happens! I gave this book 4 stars because even though it is good, the ending seems too fast and convenient. Hope you like this book! Happy Reading!

This book is well, bone chilling. The first time I saw a “ghoul” devour on someones flesh it horrified me. The author is amazing at building these characters to seem REAL, it transports you into this dystopian place and its horrifying. This is a must read if you are into that sort of stuff. I do believe that the other reviewers are exaggerating a bit much on the quality as sometimes i’m so confused as to whats happening but its still an amazing series.

Alex Taylor is an ordinary boy, except for the fact that he has a step-father and no mother. But, even that isn't very remarkable, for his stepfather isn't evil. His step-father is just an ordinary man who owns a tavern called the happy dragon. He also has a step-brother whose name is Todd, who plays lots of tricks, but never means to get anyone in trouble. Only, one day, he goes for a walk on Sildon Lane. It is surprisingly empty, with no cars close to him. He sees a sign in a bookshop that says Adventurers Wanted. Then, he looks away for a second, and it suddenly says, in different colored letters, Adventurers Wanted: Please Apply Within. He goes inside to ask about the sign, and finds himself signing a contract so he can become an adventurer, and suddenly learns about magic from his new fellow adventurers, Arconn and Thrang. Arconn is an elf, and Thrang a dwarf. Then he meets the other adventurers, and goes to get supplies, but while in the blacksmith's shop to get weapons, he learns that he could be a wizard. He also learns about things such as magic bags, and sets off on his adventure with his magic sword, Moonslayer. While on the adventure, he learns about the wall, fights a three-legged troll, and befriends an Oracle.
