The book started when they just got left the WCKD’s maze. They successfully escaped the maze, but the next challenge that they need to face is the world, the flare, the cranks. My favorite character in this book is Minho, because he can cheer others up when they are in a hard situation, but he can also lead the whole group of boys seriously. Conflicts between characters start to happen, they are confused about who to trust. The amazing part about this book is that you can think about the situation that happened in different perspective. The perspective of the book that the story plot gave you makes you think that WCKD is bad, but when you look at the whole situation in WCKD’s perspective, they are trying to save live, why are they wrong? Trying to think in another perspective, such as Thomas and his other friends, WCKD is killing them to save other people, what’s the point? They didn’t deserve to die. When you look at Teresa’s perspective, because she is struggling between the reality that what should she do. She didn't mean to betray the boys, I think she is confused about what she did too. I think this is the most interesting part about the books and makes people think that the world isn’t fair, life is cruel. This situation that they are going through this video is very hard to relate to our daily life as a middle school teenager, but the situation of sometimes looking or thinking at something in a different perspective might change the way we look at things and forget the bias about the object. I've felt something similar to the situation that Thomas faced in the story, got betrayed by someone that he trust the most, when I'm in 5th grade, I told something secret to my best friend but she ended up telling others and make fun of me behind my back. If I can change something about this story, I'll like to change the ending a little, because I think the ending is too rush. I strongly recommend this book and also there is a movie of this book that came out called "the scorch trials". It's absolutely amazing. Whoever enjoys young adult such as the Hunger games will also love this book as well.

There are others now. Their survival depends on the Gladers’ destruction—and they’re determined to survive.

The book Scorch Trail is the sequel to the first book the “Maze Runner” it is written by the same author; James Darshan. This story take place after the Glader escape from the maze, after surviving the maze yet again they were set off to another challenge. This time they were required to travel through the most dangerous desert with people inflicted by a disease called the flares on loose. Overall this was a excellent story but if I were to change one things I would want more perspective of Wicked, I think this story was a bit bias because it focused too much on Thomas and never gave us detail about Wicked. I would recommend this book to anyone who like stories where people fight for what they believe in.
This book contains a really large climax to the story with a lot of excitements and violence in the trilogy. Although the book isn't my top pick in the Maze Runner series, but its will be listed as number 2 because the plot was full of excitement and powerful, strong type of characteristics could be seen in the book. And it completely solve some questions and thoughts from the previous book series. It was a very detailed book full of pecks of surprises.
I rated this book 4/5 because I think the story is a little weird in some parts and I think the events are moving to quickly before I can understand what happened. In the story, Thomas and his fellow Gladers started to travel through the Scorch, and they ran into a lot of dangerous things like cranks and other creatures. I wish I could change the ending to something more exciting and dangerous than the current one. Overall, I think this is a pretty good book but it lacks explanation on some events that happened in the story. I would recommend this book to others.
This is the second book in the series. It is about what happened after they escaped the maze. They went on to another challenge that requires them to travel through a dessert and a city full of people who were affected by a weird virus that turns people into a zombie. They are forced to face a totally different challenge with shortages of food and water everywhere. I like this book because I think, not only the actions was very exciting but they have also lined out a completely different storyline. The part that I dislike about this is that sometimes the storyline gets too complicated that it’s hard for me to understand. The good part is that the storyline was lined up quite perfectly which helps all the different parts make more sense. This book includes some plot that will continue in the next book. I would recommend it but mind you it’s not going to be an easy book to understand.
I gave it a 4 star because I think that some of the times there is too much talking and I think that they include more exciting action. But overall I think that this is a great book. It has a really interesting and cool idea. The author also writes about what the character is feeling and other details that helps paint a picture for the reader. My favourite part of the book is when Thomas and Brenda was escaping from the maniacs and hiding inside the tunnels in a small room. Reading that part gave me chills because you don't know whether or not the maniacs would find them.
I think I gave it a 3 stars because only a little part of the story were fighting, and all the other parts of the story are talking. Although that the content is kind of jumping around, the fighting part gave me a really clear idea of what is going on, and I can picture that in my head.
I loved this book so much. It makes me want to read this book everyday. I hope you enjoy it.
