For a full hour, he poured lemonade. The world is a thirsty place, he thought as he nearly emptied his fourth pitcher of the day. And I am the Lemonade King.
Fourth-grader Evan Treski is people-smart. He’s good at talking with people, even grownups. His younger sister, Jessie, on the other hand, is math-smart, but not especially good with people. So when the siblings’ lemonade stand war begins, there really is no telling who will win—or even if their fight will ever end. Brimming with savvy marketing tips for making money at any business, definitions of business terms, charts, diagrams, and even math problems, this fresh, funny, emotionally charged novel subtly explores how arguments can escalate beyond anyone’s intent.

This is a really good book! It has a 3 book series and i've only read 2/3 but it's still really good
i read this book and its about a sister named jessie and her brother named evan
I think that The Lemonade War was a great book about siblings and fights. Older and younger siblings can probably relate to this book. Also, it is a fun and easy read. In the book, Jessie, Evan's younger sister, gets moved up a grade and is now in her older brother's grade. When the class list comes out Jessie is in Evan's class and she is happy about it. But Evan is not. Evan starts pretending he doesn't know Jessie and this starts the lemonade war. Throughout the book Jessie thinks Evan is mad at her because she might make a fool of him in class. But that's not the real reason. The theme in this book is realationship and family. Enjoy!
This book is about a boy named Evan and a girl named Jessie. Evan thinks that Jessie will embarass him in school. Then they get into a debate, and the Lemonade War begins. The deal was, if you made more money selling lemonade, not only would that person get his/her own money; he/she'd get the other person's money too. Who will win? Read more to find out!
This book is a great book!!!!! It is about a boy named Evan and a girl named Jessie. They both make lemonade stands and then make a bet on whoever makes more money in a week . So Jessie gets alot of money in the 2nd to last day and she is winning by alot. So for the last day she goes to the beach. But Evan gets alot of money in the last day and wins the bet. That tells me to never give up even if you are winning or losing by alot. This book is a great book.
I read it and it is a great book. I recommend this book. It is a nice story about Evan taking care of Jessie. You would like it too.
I loved reading this book. Now, we are using it as our class read-aloud book.
