At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

They have no choice. If the demigods don't succeed, Gaea's armies will never die. They have no time. In about a month, the Romans will march on Camp Half-Blood. The stakes are higher than ever in this adventure that dives into the depths of Tartarus.

This book is really good with a lot of new characters. It is just as funny as all the other ones and I really liked all the action.

I think every kid should have this reading experience!

The house of hades is definitely my favorite book. Its so different for Percy and Annabeth, down in Tartarus. All the characters have changed so much. I bet Percy and Annabeth learned their lesson: never kill a monster too dangerous of painfully. You never know when you will fall into Tartarus and meet some Titans.

This author is one of my favorites. With humor, history. and adventure, all of the hundreds of pages are worth it. A great summer read for any Percy Jackson lover.

After reading all the books up until this point, you can really tell how much each of the characters has grown in their own ways. It was a wonderful book with suspense, action, and humor.

I loved this book because Rick Riordan has such a perfect way of blending characters into the story and also how everything relates to each other.

The House Of Hades showed me how much Percy and Annabeth have grown since they first met. Since the series began, Percy and Annabeth banished many of their foes to Tartarus. It was interesting to see the characters interact with familiar faces from previous books in Tartarus. House Of Hades is probably my favorite Riordan book.

Percy and Annabeth have fallen into Tartarus. Scared and alone, they are determined to reach the doors of death and seal them shut, thus preventing monsters from escaping into the mortal world. Up on the Argo, however, the demigods times are almost as bad as their friends below. This is a great book, full of suspense and mystery, action and humor. I highly suggest it.

It was a really good book, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's full of twists and turns, as well as adventure , danger, and humor. Great for fans of the original series
