It is a great book and I love it so much
If anyone wants to know, it is a historical fiction book about the American Revolution. And it's NOT boring, for anyone who hates reading about people from the past. In one scene from the book, Rebels from the Patriot side come up to the Meeker's tavern and threaten the dad to give his gun or else they'll kill him. The problem was, they didn't have the gun because Sam took it from them and ran off the fight with the Patriots. Tim's the main character.
an amazing book with a sad twist that truly will stay with you forever.
It has a really sad ending
I liked this book because it had a lot of things going on all at once. I read this book with my class we all mostly liked it. At the end it gets pretty scary. When Sam was Hung it was pretty emotional. I would not recommend this book to little kids or kids who get scared easily. I would read this book 1 more time and then i would have to bed done with it
this is a really good book. it's full of suspense. it takes place during the revolutionary war. tim, the main character, has to endure a family whose loyalties are split- a father supportive to the king, and a big brother who goes off to fight for the patriots.
This book was so inspiring for me. Through the eyes of a 14 year old boy watching his family being broken apart by this one war that he cannot get away from. When it ended I longed to read more that their should be more to read but I loved the way it end.
It was good if you like war stories and action. The main character Tim gets robbed and watches his brother Sam die I cant say to much but read it!
This book is ok i guess. I only had to read it beacause it's for book group at school. It's a little boring when you have to be forced to read it.
