This is really a great series of books. You really get into them and get to love and hate the characters (I said hate not because I didn't like them but, because you will be angry with some of the actions of some of the characters; sorry I just had to clear that up). I recommend these books to ages 10 and up because of the violence in this series. There's lots of it but, that's what makes the book entertaining. You really can not put this book down - it's too good! There are lots of surprises in this book so if you choose to read it, you will be off the edge of your seats for some parts! Also, if you chose to read it, I think you've made a good choice.

I completely recommend this book for anyone ages 11 and up. It has a wonderful plot and very realistic characters but, it doesn't get boring at any time at all. You will NOT be able to put this book down. It's a wonderful genre; you learn some things but still is a book that has lots of action going on. Something you can picture in your head and makes you think wow. Although, I would not recommend this book to anyone who is easily frightened or does not like fighting and/or violence.

Well, once upon a time my best friend was trying to get me to read this book. I didn't at first because we aren't really into the same genres of things but, eventually she got me to read it. After I read it, I had to go up and thank her for getting me into these books. They are awesome. I could not put it down for more than like 5 minutes! I loved the characters and the conflict in the story. It was really, really good, I am definitely not lying one bit. It made you wonder what was going to happen next. My teacher even came up to me and said that it must be a really good book because she could see by my facial expressions just how into it I was! I will surprise you and make you laugh. I highly recommend it to any age just as long as they can read around a 5th grade level. Even if they/you can't, have someone read it to you! THAT'S how good it is!!! :D

I absolutely love this series of books. I was instantly hooked on them after the first few chapters. If anyone out there has watched the movie and has not read any of the books - even if you did not like the movie - I highly recommend these books ages 10 and up. I will admit they are violent but, if you read them you must enjoy them that way. They're all about heroism, adventure, and fighting but, still in a more kid-like way. They are very enjoyable. You will, laugh, learn, frown, and love. The only reason I say frown is because of getting attached or reading something sad or disappointing. But, that's what makes this book so good. They really are terrific. :)

I read this book for a reading competition at school and I must admit, I really did NOT enjoy it. I've seen plays based on this book before so, I was kind of excited that this book was on the list for the competition this year. But, I had the wrong idea. It just seemed kind of boring and slow paced for me. Maybe it was because I've seen a couple plays about it and was used to it now, or maybe it just wasn't my kind of book I don't know because I bet there are definitely some people who liked this book. I usually read more fantasy, maybe a lil' sci-fi, and adventure books so I do suggest if you are like me, you might not like this book.
