As a teacher, my initial reaction was very much like yours. The more I read through the article, I could see it working. While there are no grades, the students are kept accountable by an advisor and get one on one time as well as direct instruction during certain group times. I'm guessing that the program they are placed on at the beginning of the year has a checklist, and if they fall behind on their personalized education, they probably are given extra attention. I am curious about Nationalized testing. It would be interesting to see data on how their scores compare to others.
