Insurgent is a amazing, interesting, and mysterious book all rolled into one. So let's review it. The genre of the book Insurgent By Veronica Roth is science fiction more specifically dystopian. I personally really like this book although it is not as good as its predecessor Divergent, it is still a great book I would rate it a 8/10. The book Insurgent starts out right where Divergent left of Tris and Tobias tour around the different factions, constantly trying to escape the evil hands of Erudite. But the Erudite use their simulation powers to their advantage and make it so that a Divergent must turn himself in or else those under the influence of the simulation will kill themselves. Tris goes behind Tobias’s back and turns herself in, and is experimented on at Erudite to help them find a simulation that will work on Divergent. She eventually escapes (along with Tobias) with the help of Peter, because he felt he owe her one. But if I tell you any more I might spoil the book for you so now I will stop. The setting of this who story is in a dystopian Chicago, Illinois. Comparing the book yo the movie I liked the book better but I have to admit the movie did a great job of staying true to the story. I also recommend this book to anyone no matter what gender and what age, just to keep in mind their are some Lovey dovey parts so you have been warned. Well thank you for sticking with me and have a great day.Over 8 years agokyliejener has read this book.

The name of my book is Chomp by Carl Hiaasen. This book is about a kid named Wahoo and his dad named Mickey. Wahoo's dad recently got his skull cracked by a dead iguana that had fallen from a tree. Wahoo's Mom now works in China. Then one day a tv show calls Mickey Cray and Wahoo and they agree to let the tv show film with there animals. The tv show comes to the Cray's backyard and films with their animals. There are so many mistakes that the tv show decided then to hire Mickey cray as a wrangler and film the show in the real Everglades and they also take an abused girl named Tuna who is a huge fan of the tv show and from then on many twists and turns await them. I enjoyed this book beaches of the comedy and adventure in the book. There a lot of great sarcastic jokes and plain just really funny jokes. Also while the recording of the tv show there are a lot of small adventures in this part of the book. That is why I enjoyed this book. This book is realistic fiction because there was not actual a kid and his dad who had a zoo in there backyard and the kids mom worked in China and that the dad got his skull cracked by a dead iguana, also get a job for a fake survival tv show. But this can happen in real life. That is why this book is realistic fiction. I believe that the type of reader/audience that would like this book would be someone who likes animals and adventure. This is because the book includes lots of animals and many twists and turns and stunts for adventure readers. This book is fine for both boys and girls. A external conflict is man vs man when Mr.Cray meets Derek Badger they do not like each other and they begin to fight through the the entire process of filming the tv show. An internal conflict is the feelings Wahoo has for Tuna he likes her as a friend but also likes her as a girlfriend. Wahoo is torn between these two choices about how he feels about Tuna.About 9 years agokyliejener has read this book.
