This book starts with a very surprising and brand new start. I like that there are another group of half-bloods, the new characters are just so adorable, and still give clues that the two camps are somehow related. In the new characters, Piper is my favorite. At first, she was a girl who gets into trouble for the ability she has. She often get bullied by other girls, shows especially when she’s in Aphrodite's house. Throughout the story, you can see her growing slowly, and finally became a confident girl, who knows how to control her power, and how to deal with hatred.

I’m glad that this book explains so far most of the questions the last book started. There are so many different events going on at the same time, to be honest some parts makes me confuse. I also like the new characters a lot, I like how they all have some kind of a background story that doesn’t end well, so their friends are more likely to be families. It’s heartbreaking how Percy only see Annabeth in dreams, but she encourage him to live. I’m glad that at least in the end, it gives clue that they are going to meet. I miss the times when they are still the cute couple who promise never leaving each other.

I’ve waited so long for this book to finally come out! I think it is more of a smaller piece of work that clears some questions we have before the story of two tigers started. It makes me like the character Yesubai even more. Also, there are some secret bonus chapters in the back, don’t miss it if you’re waiting for the 5th book!
