I wish i could rate this book 70 stars its like the perfect book for a girl i hope that sounded right any way if your looking for a new book to read pick this at the end the author tells you about the next book and lets you read a chapter like most books but its still fun once you finish reading it remember about the about the author it is in most books but this on is especially good sorry about no punctuation too I don't really put punctuation in anything but school work anyway just please read this book

I've gone ice skating a few times and loved every minute of it. This book is about highschooler Nikki Maxwell and her crush Brandon. Brandon asks Nikki out to help volunteer at a local animal shelter, and her little sister Brianna messes things up by texting him. Nikki soon makes things right with him and sets up an official date! After spending the day there and seeing how lovely it is Brandon proceeds to tell Nikki they have to close down due to financial issues. Nikki knows she has to do something about that and the perfect thing comes up! You can enter a skating competition for a huge cash prize. Nikki is thrilled to enter with her and her friends even though she has no experience. Soon she finds out her arch-enemy is a great ice skater and is entering the contest, from there on all things go downhill. Will they win? Will Nikki learn in time? will the animal shelter stay in business? Read Dork Diaries not such a great ice princess to find out. My connection to this book is I am always ready to help out friends in need even if that means taking big risks.

Nikki Maxwell has been doing everything she can to keep kids at school from knowing the truth about why she is at school-she's on a scholarship in exchange for her dad being the school's exterminator. Nikki is trying to avoid from having her friends, her not-so-friends, and her crush, Brendan from witnessing the huge roach on top of her dad's van. Now it looks like the secret might come out, and Nikki would stay up day and night to keep that from happening. Now when there is a school talent show coming up with a school scholarship as a prize, the timing seems perfect. Nikki loves performing (singing, dancing) and now she has to round up a bunch of friends to help her free her dad from his obligation(and free herself from her bad reputation)! Once again along with misunderstandings and Mackenzie's evil schemes, Nikki had to try to survive middle school.

I got this for my birthday and I loveto draw in it.I also like her other books too.They are similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid but I still liked this one too because it was aimed more for girls.

Personally, i think this book is pretty good. im in the 5th grade, and ive been reading since 2nd grade. (thanks to my older sister) alot of people dont like how the protagonist, Nicki talks alot about boys and crushes and romantic teenager problems. But personally i think its just sort of realistic, Nicki is not in the 4th grade, shes a teen. This book isnt technically about a fun adventure with no worrys or stress, its realistic "slice of life" book. it speaks about growing pains and i think its interesting since i like books with drama and realistic ideals, usually. even in manga i like it when for example, attack on titan isnt all just about the titans but also shows the characters personalities and personal goals and stuff like that, friendships being broken and stuff that hurts the reader because of how realistic it is, but also has fiction like titans. Back to dork diaries, this is one of the only non-manga books i like, i will say Nicki can get a bit whiny and makes it a bit less enjoyable but overall i really like the idea and plot of this book, no its not a Diary of the Wimpy Kid "rip-off", its different in its own way because its more grown-up and usually girls struggle alot more with growing up so its natural Dork Diaries feels grown. I love this book! It can be very stereotypical tho, just because Nicki is a new "nerdy girl" who gets picked on, and on top of that her enemy is Mackenzie Hollister, the most popular girl in school. I like how much the book has so many twist and turns.

I love this book. It's so good! WARNING: the characters are not very good role models, such as Bethany doing things behind her mom's back, and being mean to Owen and not doing the right thing, just because Owen would do it (she finds Owen very stupid and annoying). And there is a lot of lying, and Owen hides the truth from Bethany and carries out a plan, even when Bethany tells him how DANGEROUS it can be! He should have listened to her, even though she is a hot-head. And there is some surgery, which might make some readers feel uncomfortable. Just a heads-up to let you know. I recommend it for ages 8+, or maybe 7+. And if you like this book, then you will like KEEPER OF THE LOST CITIES. Read both books. Owen is just a normal kid who lives in the normal world. But that's the problem--life is so boring when you live in the real world and not star as the hero in your very own book series (boring except for reading the Kiel Gnomenfoot magic quest series. NOT BORING AT ALL!). His everyday life is so boring until he sees Bethany climb out of a book in the library where his mother works. It takes some convincing, but Bethany finally tells Owen that she's half-fictional (if that's confusing, her mother is a normal person like Owen, and her father is a fictional character who found his way out of his books and married Bethany's mom) and that she's searching for her 100% fictional father, who went missing when she accidentally jumped herself, her friends, and him into a book at her fourth birthday party. She jumped herself and her friends out, but she has not seen her father since she left him in the book. Owen has just the thing to help her find her dad (or knows OF it). It's a spell in the Kiel Gnomenfoot books--a location spell. But Owen isn't really going into the book to get Bethany access to a spell. He wants to save the Magister, Kiel's magic teacher who is about to be killed by the evil Mad Scientist, Dr. Verity. Owen just can't let that happen, so he changes the plot--with some very mixed results! Owen is where Kiel should be, Kiel is where Owen should be, and the girls are facing some serious situations with the annoying boys (if you're wondering, Bethany and Kiel are facing the Magister, and Owen, who is disguised as Kiel in the last book, is teaming up with Charm, the lovable half-robotic girl. They both face impossible challenges, both in the fictional and nonfictional world, and face difficult choices. I think you will like this awesome book.

With the upcoming Circus of Talents where Good boys ask Good girls to be their date for the Snow Ball, Sophie is anxious to be Tedros' date and to receive her true love's kiss.. but Tedros asks the now beautiful and kind Agatha instead to be his date.. In blind rage, Sophie is set on destroying the school that is ultimately destroying her life, and Tedros declares war on Evil. Read this compelling, magical, absolutely spellbinding book to find out! I loved this book! It is hands down, probably the best fairy-tale twist book I have EVER read! It was extremely captivating, and hooked me on the first page - I just felt a rush as I read it, and I honestly couldn't turn the pages fast enough! This book defies what other books have said - you don't have to be beautiful on the outside to have a solid gold heart on the inside! I've read books about perfect friendships.. but in my mind, those aren't friendships at all. You have to have bumps in the road (very MAJOR bumps for Sophie and Agatha) and it's the strength that takes to rebond, over and over again, to look over each other's faults, to still remain true to each other even when things are rough or when you'll different, and most of all (SPOILERS) to sacrifice yourself for each other. Discover a tearjerking story full of undying, true love, differences, magic, the power to overcome challenges, being yourself, and most of all, it tells you just how important and beautiful true friendship can be! I can't wait to get the second and third books!

This book is so good is about 3 boys and one girl that are friends and {}Spoiler alert if you haven't read the book{} The girl's name is Nola and there are 3 boys that all all best friends and one day the swift boys dad and mom got in a argument and the swift boys dad left to somewhere then all the swift boys were really sad and they kind of changed because of it so Nola did not want them to be sad and WANTED to find out where the swift boys dad has gone and what happened to him later then Nola asked mom if she could go to her grandma's house for spending time with her or cleaning and the reason she actually wanted to go to her grandma's house is because she wanted to see if the swift boys dad is if there dad is dating some one else and she also wanted to find out id the swift boys dad is living with some one else>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> then later on Nola went back to her house she did find some clues if the swift boys dad is dating or living with some one else when Nola went to the swift boys house her best best friend was well not talking to her and for some reason he was mad at her when Nola went to his room she tried to talk to him but he did not talk back to her and also his room was very dirty the boy got mad and pused Nola out of the room and shut the door on Nola's face right in FRONT of HER {}SO MEAN{} after all that few days later Nola was in a shop and the boy that was her BEST BEST FRIEND was there with the boys that bullied Nola. Nola went over to her best friend and asked why are you hanging out with them and he said nothing then the buliies started saying stuff to Nola and the lady that works there in the shop told all the boys to go out from the shop

Prepare for an action-filled adventure of betrayals, poisonous berries, unexpected allies, bloody deaths, wildfires, heartbreak, and maybe even true love..? I highly recommend this book - please give it a try! This book fit right in the "dystopia" label, honestly - even though I completely fell for this book my first time reading it, I grew a little more critical the next few times around.. I felt like the "star-crossed lovers" cliché didn't exactly "fit" Katniss and Peeta - I felt like Katniss would be better off with her sister, Prim, even in the absolutely terrible conditions of District 12 - that would have been a "happy ending" for her. Instead, Katniss is stuck in a confusing love triangle between basically useless Peeta and her long-time friend, Gale, and I feel like even though the bloody Hunger Games is supposed to be the "main" storyline of the series, the whole overwhelming romance thing just pushes everything else aside. Aside from the cheesy "romance" side of this series, I absolutely loved some parts of the book - the sacrifice Katniss made for Prim felt so.. so heartbreaking, but I was absolutely devastated when a specific friend of Katniss died in her arms.. The emotional aspect of such an event was so well captured in this book, how heartbreaking it would be to lose your family or friends.. I could not stop sobbing. This outshone the "romance" storyline for me, and now, I am happy to say that I believe that Suzanne Collins wrote an absolutely breathtaking novel.. thank you.
