this is a great book I just started and its all ready good in juciy

I like this book but parts of it I think are NOT cool

'Dirt Road Home' is about a bot named Hal, who goes to a boys' home called "Hellenweiler". Hal and his father had made a deal to each other: Hal stays out of trouble, as long as Mr. Mitchell, Hal's dad, stops drinking alcohol. When Hal enters Hellenweiler, he realizes his deal isn't as easy as he thought it seems. He makes an acquaintance, and his name is Leroy. A few weeks into Hellenweiler, and he finds out a little more about the place. There are two "gangs": The Hounds and the Ministers. Deep into the book, he learns about a lot of Hellenweiler and the people in it. The genre of this book is coming of age, and this book is just absolutely amazing! Hal learns a lot about other boys, and himself, to find the true meaning of bravery. He had learn how to fight for himself, without fighting. What will he do? How ill he survive? Read the book to find out!

(Mom's Review) I loved this book. I met the author at the Orange County Children’s Book Festival and loved that I found a perfect children’s book about me, “Mixed Me.” I am part Japanese, Black, White, and Native American. So I grew up hearing the question, “What are You?” My response usually was “I am a girl, what are you?” The book is so well written and has a beautiful message for all young children of mixed heritage. It was a book that I could share with my 10 year old daughter and 7 year old son, who are even more mixed than me. I also love that the illustrator is a young artist also of mixed heritage. Definitely a great book that would be a great addition to any elementary school library!

This book is so lovely (I love all the Anna Hibiscus books because they are about different story's)

I never read it, but seems like a happy story

This book is really cute it is about a girl with her brothers and their dad. But the girl gets a call from here job and she needs someone to take care of a dog. So she can't go so her mom has to stay home with her. So stay toned it is a really good book.

I love this book it is cool because he is on a soccer team and plays against his friends I recommend people read this

Now, a house filled with lost creatures is sort of.....weird.😕Now, I've wanted to read this book since I was nine. But now I'm eleven. I haven't read this book yet. AND I WANT TO.😡So right now I can't tell you what I think about this book...BUT! When I finally get the chance to read this book, I will tell you about it.
