The book that I have read is mountain dog and in that book Tony the main character was fostered by his uncle who lived in the Sierra Nevada mountains his uncle had a search and rescue dog. This book is about tony overcoming his old life and the trouble he faces adapting to his new lifestyle. The new friends he makes and the trouble he faces. In my opinion this book is a 4/5 star book because it is a mix of exciting and sad which makes exciting cliffhangers. It is also a great book because the author describes the setting in such detail as if you are standing next to the character. This book is realistic fiction because it takes place in present day and could really happen. I would suggest this book to a variety of audiences because they could suit a person who likes dogs or a person who likes the outdoors. An internal conflict happened when Tony would think of his old life. And an internal conflict would happen when he was lost in the woods.

This is an intriguing story about a girl whose mother has cancer and whose father is no longer around. What begins as a typical summer, soon takes an unexpected turn. A local prison break, the kidnapping of a friend, and Lizzie's desire to help lead to mistakes with dire consequences and questioned loyalties.

Rosi loves her Fred parents, even though she knows one terrible day she will have to return to her biologic parents. Then the day arrives. It comes out of nowhere. Zach King: My Magical Life is about a boy (Zach King) who comes from a family with magical powers. When he should be getting his magical powers, he hasn't. This leads him to believe that he might have been skipped, meaning he did not receive these powers. All members of the King family have been home schooled, but since Zach has not shown any magical abilities, his parents decide to send him to public school. At first he disagrees with this decision, but slowly comes to accept their choice. At Horace Greeley Middle School , he meets new friends, such as Rachael and Aaron. However, Tricia Stands ,the most popular girl in school, isn't as nice to Zach and his friends. Read the book to find out their plan to get back at Tricia, and how it effects them. I thought this book was good, but not amazing. It had it's funny events, but it didn't feel so unique. This book still makes a good read.

This was a awesome book! FULL of imagination, suspense, action, humor, horror, and adventure. Way to go Catherine Jinks. Great authors come great books.:)
