The New York Times bestselling The School for Good and Evil is an epic journey into a dazzling new world, where the only way out of a fairy tale is to live through one. Start here to follow Sophie, Agatha, and everyone at school from the beginning!

With her glass slippers and devotion to good deeds, Sophie knows she'll earn top marks at the School for Good and join the ranks of past students like Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Snow White. Meanwhile, Agatha, with her shapeless black frocks and wicked black cat, seems a natural fit for the villains in the School for Evil.

The two girls soon find their fortunes reversed—Sophie's dumped in the School for Evil to take Uglification, Death Curses, and Henchmen Training, while Agatha finds herself in the School for Good, thrust among handsome princes and fair maidens for classes in Princess Etiquette and Animal Communication.

But what if the mistake is actually the first clue to discovering who Sophie and Agatha really are?

This book was simply amazing. The ingenuity of the plot and the well-rounded characters made the book impossible to put down. The ending reminded me of The Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy discovered could go home the entire time. Sophie and Agatha's every attempt to switch schools made me laugh so hard, I had to put the book down.

I loved this book. When I first saw it I thought it was going to be really good and it definitely was. It’s about when the schoolmaster of The School For Good And Evil kidnaps two friends, one beautiful and one ugly. To top it off they’re put in the wrong schools, or so they think. Sophie, who is beautiful, takes two hours in the morning to get ready, and always try’s to do good deeds; ends up in The School For Evil with classes such as uglification. Agatha, who has bulging eyes, lives in a graveyard, and only wears black; gets put in The School For Good where they have groom rooms and wear pink princess dresses as their uniform. The two friends try everything to get to the opposite school, but nothing they do seems to work. I think that this book was really, really, really good. And I really liked the whole plot; it kept me wanting to know what happens next. I hope the author (Soman Chainani) writes a sequel. I want to know what happens after the book ends.

Do you think this book would be great for reading in summer?

This was the best book I've read so far. In this book there was a sursprising turn of events. Also, in this book there a message, you think you are something, when really you are the total opposite.

This book was really good because i like fantasy. i recommend this to people who enjoy reading retelling of fairy tales, fantasy, or girls. its interesting because deep inside the book, it has a message saying that some people can appear to be something they think they are, but they actually don't know their true self. The book was really cool because it was a school for evil and good people and that famous princesses went to the school before being famous. LUV IT!

I so agree with you!!
