The second book of The Hunger Games is AWESOME!! Katniss is living with her mom and her sister Prim in a big house with food and money. After winning the Games, Katinss and Peeta have to pretend to be in love in front have cameras. Though President Snow caught her and Gale kissing in the woods, so he is not convinced and he threatens everyone she loves. She has to convince him and save her family. So she and Peeta get engaged.One day she and Gale get into a fight and then Gale gets caught poaching. Because of it he gets whipped again and again, once Katniss sees this she runs up in front of him and gets whipped in the face. Peeta and Haymitch, who was their mentor for the Games helps Gale get to her mother who is a doctor. He heals and the Reaping has came again. It surprises everyone though because all the victors have to come into the Games again. How will she survive another Hunger Games when she can hardly follow asleep because of it. She decides she is not going to win, but Peeta is. And she is going to protect him. How will she do this? If you like the first book The Hunger Games, or Divergent you will like this book.

It was awesome! Katniss has to go though a lot of trouble with Peeta when she has to back to an arena she is desperate. while being pulled between the hunger games and her life Katniss has to lie to get around things. This book is entertaining and makes you sit at the edge of your chair this book is awesome!!!
This book is amazing! I total recommend this book is one you have read Hunger Games and two if you like action.
Okay. The first part was a bit boring to be honest, but at least not a repeat of the first one. The second part, however, is. In my opinion the thing that made the book 2 stars was because of the same violence as the first one, but if that is what your looking for, dig in! You might find this as good as the first (or better!)

Suzanne Collins outdid herself with the sequel to the wonderful novel "The Hunger Games". In this action-packed novel, we find romance, with surprises on every page! I couldn't put the book down!
If you like the kind of books that make you bite your nails with antisapation...you will love this book. Personally I thought the first book was way better but it is still really good.

BEST BOOK EVER pretty much sums it all up
Catching Fire is the second book of the Hunger Games series by: Suzanne Collins. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have just won the 74th Hunger Games and now all their worries are behind then... or are they, Katniss may just have destroyed her life with the stunt she pulled during the Hunger Games, now she is a big target for president Snow. Katniss and the other victors must now compete in the Quarter Quell, and if things couldn't get any worse now Katniss and Peeta have to speak in front of the other districts and the families of the tributes.If you want to find out what happens next read Catching Fire by: Suzanne Collins.
