After moving to a creepy town with four-eyed birds, Hopper isn't quite liking her new environment. But then she meets Eni, who is smart and wicked good at basketball. He also understands that there IS something creepy about the school, and the both of them set out to solve the ultimate mystery of the place they call school. Or is it? ;)
Hopper gets to a new school and it's terrible! The place is creepy and there are tons of birds and tons of 9s all over the school. She has to get to the bottom of all of thin weird stuff that is going on!
This book is really good. This book is in the mystery category. At the end there is a cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the second book, so I find out!!
Secret Coders is a green, black, and white comic book. It's about a girl named Hopper who goes to a brand new school. The kids are mean, her principal is scary, and her classes are BORING!! Mostly, Mandarin. They spent the entire period repeating the same two phrases! At lunch, a creepy bird walks up to her. The eyes looked like this: 0_ _ 0. Hopper was wearing the number 7 earrings, and as soon as the creepy bird saw it the bird's eyes looked like this: _ 000 ( #creepy!!!!). Then, a boy named Eni walked up to her. They soon became a team. Hopper and Eni are determined to find out the mysteries of Hopper's new school. Also, what is that janitor hiding from them? I would rate this book a four out of five stars. This book leaves a cliffhanger and what happens next?! Also, thanks to dogonews for letting me win this book. Without dogonews, I would have never been able to write this review. it took me an hour to read again, but I still loved it as the first time. it is about a girl named Hopper and she just moved to a creepy new school coved in the number 9. she meets a boy named Eni who shows her binary codes and that the mysterious birds are controlled whenever they see numbers. together they learn to control a turtle robot they found. this book is a very good mystery.
Secret Coders is a comic book about a young girl, Hopper, who moves to a new school and finds a mystery. She and her new friend Eni are out to solve the case. Will the pair find out what the numbers mean? Why is the shed door locked? What is the janitor hiding? How do they control the turtle? This is a very cute comic book for an introduction to coding. There are pictures and words to explain the actions, and Eni and Hopper use "coding" to direct several events. This book is meant for young children, elementary age. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
this is really good!!! but it left me on a cliff hanger and now I need the sequel!!! but the birds are weird!!! Closed, Opened, Opened, Opened!
