I really liked this book. The main character is a 10 year-old boy named George Calder. George Calder must be the luckiest kid alive. He and his little sister, Phoebe, are sailing with their aunt on the Titanic, the greatest ship ever built. George can't resist exploring every inch of the ship, even if he gets in trouble. Then the ship hits an iceberg and it starts to sink. George is left by himself on the sinking ship. How can he survive?
Its good and it also has the history in the titanic and i like the story and i also like the others stories that lauren has done
I think that although this historical fiction book is short, it's good for anyone who wants to read about how it was like for a child (passenger) during the sinking of the Titanic. Whenever I read the I Survived series books, I can feel like I'm actually in the story, experiencing whatever's happening. I like that the author writes this using a character that makes sense and having the story being told in past tense. I also like how the author makes the first chapter a short chapter about how the protagonist is feeling, then makes the following chapter all about the events that lead up to what happens in the first one.
This a historical fiction book with many twists and turns. A boy takes a voyage on the Titanic with his brother and his mother. He befriends a little boy on the boat. The rest of the story is about how the boy survives the sinking of the massive ship.
I read this book a while ago but i just reread it. It's really good! All of the I survived books are really interesting and yet you still learn a little bit of history. Would definietly reccomend
An easy read for a 10 year old, but good. Suspense but not a lot. Fiction so that was disappointing. Still a good book for shark lovers and thrill seekers.
I love this series! The Titanic is one of my favorite parts in history to read about. I have read this whole series. This is one of my favorites. They are quick reads and give good information.
my great grandad survived the sinking of the titanic
that's awesome if that's real
I like the books in this series. This one is about a boy named George Caldor who is traveling with his Aunt Daisy and sister Phoebe in first class on the Titanic. George is curious and a little sneaky too. He is always getting into trouble. He sneaks out of his room to see if there is a mummy on the ship. He had heard that there was one in the storage area. He didn't know it but his little sister followed him. The Titanic struck the iceberg while they were out exploring. George made it back to his room, but phoebe didn't. George feels terrible because he knows that it is his fault. George realized that Phoebe left a trail of Lemon Drops to find her way back. Then George and his friend Enzo, plus his dad Marco helped look for Phoebe. George and Enzo find Phoebe and go up to get on the lifeboats. There is a happy ending, but not without some excitement and danger. I don't want to give all the plot away so I will stop my review right now.
