Harry Potter has never been the star of a Quidditch team, scoring points while riding a broom far above the ground. He knows no spells, has never helped to hatch a dragon, and has never worn a cloak of invisibility.
All he knows is a miserable life with the Dursleys, his horrible aunt and uncle, and their abominable son, Dudley — a great big swollen spoiled bully. Harry’s room is a tiny closet at the foot of the stairs, and he hasn’t had a birthday party in eleven years.
But all that is about to change when a mysterious letter arrives by owl messenger: a letter with an invitation to an incredible place that Harry — and anyone who reads about him — will find unforgettable.
For it’s there that he finds not only friends, aerial sports, and magic in everything from classes to meals, but a great destiny that’s been waiting for him… if Harry can survive the encounter.

So far this book is an adventure filled story that is more than wonderful to imagine! This book is probably one of the best books to start of a series especially the Harry potter series!
Harry Potter is one of the best books that I have ever read. It is also one of the most famous children's books ever written, loved by people throughout the world. In it, a boy named Harry Potter discovers that he is a wizard and is accepted into a school of magic. He realizes that he has been told all lies about his past, and sets out to avenge his parents' deaths - after acquiring the proper training of course. All in all, with vivid scenery and great description, Harry Potter - The Sorcerer's Stone makes you wish you went to school at Hogwarts instead!

Have you ever wanted to read a fascinating and magical book? Then grab a Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone from your public library today! This book is packed with adventure, excitement, fascination, and, of course, magic. Harry Potter is a rather "ordinary" boy in the beginning who lives with the dull Dursleys. As time passes, Harry discovers her secret background: a wizard. The tale goes on to Hogwarts: the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At first he seems "popular", because of his life, and then moves on to suspense and mystery. If you want to read something like that, read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! Warning: Harry Potter has an odd life and character...
