This was the first Book in the series that I read. They are very funny. Jeff Kinney is one of my favorite authors. You should definitely read them.

Greg Heffley is super good at video games, however his mom wants to see the creative side of him. His mom decides he can't play anymore video games for a while. Halloween is also coming up, and Greg gets an idea when he discovers a bag of gummy worms. He calls his best friend Rowley over, and they try to make a movie to become rich and famous. Greg's parents aren't home, so he is safe for now with his plan. But then Rowley is stuck in a tree, and Greg's dad happens to come home at that moment. Now Greg is in big trouble. This book is very funny, and I recommend it to comedy readers, and people who enjoy the other Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, and the Dork Diaries series. I rate it 5/5.

In my opinion, this is the best book in the series so far!

Great book and it is truly wondrous to read about the fascinatingly stupid and funny things that the protagonist AKA Gregory Heffley does in his crazy lifetime, along with his friend Rowley Jefferson. Will the movie go as planned, or no? If you've read the book you'll surely know by now what I'm talking about, if you haven't start hitting the books!

This is a good Wimpy Kid book. It is about the adventures of Greg during Halloween and Fall time. Greg meets a friend named Maddox who Susan thinks is a good role model for Greg. Also, Greg releases a balloon for the competition to see who's balloon goes the farthest. Greg also directs a movie and gets mad because Rowley becomes famous for a little after the movie. This book is a very humorous book because of the relationship between Greg and Rowley. I recommend this book to anyone.

This is one of the most hilarious book I've ever read in my life. I can't even imagine how Jeff Kinney gets all these ideas. A wonderful diary of the middle School kid, Greg Heffley.
