I think that the main character (Hugo) was very interesting. Brian Selznick did a good job, especially on the illustrations. The book won the Caldecott Medal.

I....LOVE....THIS...BOOK! If children could marry books I think this would be my first choice... I kinda like the book x100000000000 better than the movie, Books are always better than movies :-]

Its an okay book. a little confusing
I haven't personally read this book but when I was in primary my teacher read it to us. I loved it and I have been intending to read it myself but haven't got round to it. It has beautiful and detailed drawings and is a great book. I would recommend it to anyone! XD
