Bod is an unusual boy who inhabits an unusual place—he's the only living resident of a graveyard. Raised from infancy by the ghosts, werewolves, and other cemetery denizens, Bod has learned the antiquated customs of his guardians' time as well as their ghostly teachings—such as the ability to Fade so mere mortals cannot see him.

Can a boy raised by ghosts face the wonders and terrors of the worlds of both the living and the dead?

The Graveyard Book is the winner of the Newbery Medal, the Carnegie Medal, the Hugo Award for best novel, the Locus Award for Young Adult novel, the American Bookseller Association’s “Best Indie Young Adult Buzz Book,” a Horn Book Honor, and Audio Book of the Year.

Neil Gaiman is an AMAZING writer. He is AWESOME!!!

This story is cool and nifty, and when I saw the title I immediately wanted to get it. At first when you start the book it may seem a little confusing, but don't worry and stop reading. In the second half of the first chapter things get clearer. Because it was about some of the things I like; gory stuff (well, it wasn't gory, but let's get on), ghosts, witches, things like that, it seemed pretty cool. Not that you have to like that kind of thing to find this book any fun, but it is good if you do.

Graveyard Book is about a child growing up in a cemetery after his parents are murdered. I don't normally recommend violent books, but GB is extremely well written by Neil Gaiman. GB really is a modern day Jungle Book story, although it's set in a cemetery.

This book is amazing. It's about this graveyard of ghosts raising a human boy. It's not even scary, but people think it is because its about ghosts.
