However, after a car accident that kills her parents and younger brother, everything has changed. While Mia was lying on the hospital bed, her soul was still alive, she knows everything that has happened to her family, she was so sad that she hopes she died with them too, which is when Mia was about to die, Adam, told her that she got in the Juilliard and sings a song that he wrote for her, then Mia felt the love and then she wakes up. Love, is really the strongest thing in the world, it hurts the most, the most powerful thing, the most complicated thing, the most simple thing, the most happy thing, and the most beautiful thing, it is everything, love is everything on earth. I really enjoy reading this book.

If I Stay, by Gayle Farmon, is a super well written book that talks about an intelligent and gorgous girl Mia of how she had to make a decision that will change her life dramatically. The story begins where Mia has to decide whether she should attend Julliard, or stay with the ones she love. But on a trip, her parents and brother all die and she finds herself lying in the hospital, where she is in a coma. Surprisingly, she is able to see everything happening around her. Mia is confused and doesn't know where she should choose to go: heaven with her family, or present with Adam? I really love how the author emphasises that being different doesn't mean you can't be together, sometimes, the more different they are, they more compatible they are. Mia loves classical music and the cello, while Adam loves rock and electrical music. Yet, they still love each other and will always be supportive of each other's decisions. I think this book really focuses on how the characters develop and why Mia and Adam made the choices they made, which is also why it is so awesome. This book is a MUST READ for everyone, especially teenager girls. It's dramatic, emotional, but extremely romantic!

If I Stay is a beautifully written novel, starting off with a girl, Mia choosing between life and death, while her body was in the coma and in the ICU due to a severe car crash in which her father, mother and brother died. Her spirit remained on earth, and somehow was able to see everything that was happening around her. It forced her to determine whether or not it is worth staying or dying. I find this novel extremely relatable, Mia and I have a lot in common, for example we both have a younger brother, and love playing cello and classical music. I love the way character was developed, Mia and Adam, the cutest couple falling in love, while Mia was in coma, Adam went to her bed and told her that he would do anything for her to stay, he would gave up everything to move to New York just to be with Mia. Mia had to choose in between death, or staying strong for Adam. The two of them have completely different hobbies, Mia was in love with classical music so badly, while Adam was a rock player, what I love about their relationship was that they were very different in some ways, yet they were comfortable together. Mia's best friend, Kim, is the best friend that anyone can have. Kim was so supportive and encouraging. Once, Mia wanted to give up on cello, she was the one who persuade her to continue playing. These adorable characters made this novel very emotional and heartfelt. I strongly recommend this book to who love an unique story that will make you think more about death, life, family and love.

As Mia lies in a hospital bed, her spirit separates from her body. She can see everything happen and how it affects the rest of her family, her friends, and especially her. Mia has to decide whether if she should stay or go. She has flashbacks and they also influence her hard decision. Mia is heartbroken as she experiences memories of her parents and pastimes with her boyfriend. You learn about Mia's life and how she can't decide if she wants to stay. This is an amazing book, and it kept me hooked until the last page. I was recommended this book and I would recommend this book to you! You should read it!
