The last thing Cammie Morgan remembers is leaving the Gallagher Academy to protect her friends and family from the Circle of Cavanan ancient terrorist organization that has been hunting her for over a year. But when Cammie wakes up in an alpine convent and discovers that months have passed, she must face the fact that her memory is now a black hole. The only traces left of Cammie’s summer vacation are the bruises on her body and the dirt under her nails, and all she wants is to go home.
Once she returns to school, however, Cammie realizes that even the Gallagher Academy now holds more questions than answers. Cammie, her friends, and mysterious spy-guy Zach must face their most difficult challenge yet as they travel to the other side of the world, hoping to piece together the clues that Cammie left behind. It’s a race against time. The Circle is hot on their trail and willing stop at nothing to prevent Cammie from remembering what she did last summer.

Read all the books they are good
i really love this series and have been following it since the first book. i'm a bit of a picky reader, and have not read that many really "exceptional" books, but ally carter writes really amazing books that i normally can't put down once i start them! i like her heist society series and the gallagher girls series is no different because everything ally carter writes is truly astounding EXCEPT out of sight, out of time (this book, which is also my least favorite book by her). it's a little boring, especially for the last book in the trilogy, because it's about her trying to find the clues she left. i adore Cammie, truthfully, but this book was not one of ally carter's better books. don't get your hopes up too high if you were expecting another fantastically interesting gallagher girls book, this will just barely reach your expectations.
Because of the Circle, Cammie runs away. So when Cammie wakes up one day in a cabin with these nice nuns, she finds herself having no memory of what she did this summer, plus she's been tortured. She goes back to the Academy and sorta recovers there but everyone starts looking for clues about the death and disapearence of her dad and about the Circle who are determined to find Cammie. They head to Rome to look for clues and find more information than they had expected.
Cammie Morgan finds herself in a convent with no remembrance of her last summer. She tries to find out what happened during the vacation, but everyone warns her that she probably doesn't want to remember it. But nothing will stop Cammie in finding out the haunting truth. Read these books! They are so good. Especially this one, it was very dark and sad.
