A rash of crimes in a neighboring town—a blazing fire at a bookstore, a boat that sinks in the harbor, and a valuable dog’s dognapping—are eerily similar to the plots from famous mystery writer Lacey O’Brien’s popular books. So who’s behind the crimes? Could it be Lacey looking for publicity? One of Lacey’s superfans? Or maybe it’s Paige Samuels, owner of the bookstore that burned. Nancy, Bess, and George will have to read between the lines as they dig deep into a dangerous mystery.

All Nancy, Bess, and George wanted to do was relax on vacation. But as it turns out, another mystery finds its way to Nancy when a building sets on fire. The evidence shows it to be an accident, but Nancy is convinced that it was arson. The question is, who did it, and why?
This book is pretty good, but I am slightly disappointed with not too much of a deep plot.
This book is very adventurous. Nancy and her friends go on a weekend trip on moon lake but they forgot there lunch so they drove to Avondale, the town closest to moon lake and see that Paige's Pages(the book store) is on fire. Nancy solves the mystery and they all live happily ever after. READ THE BOOK!!!!!
