It may not be the most original idea ever, but the execution of the book makes up for that and more. On a whole, this was a feel-good book, with slight humor. It wasn't exactly a fast-paced thrill-a-minute book, but somehow you could still sit and read it without it being forced. Flipped made it so that you could see things vicariously through Juli(anna) AND Bryce, instead of just being stuck in one P.O.V. A rich journey full of inspiring and satisfying moments, this book will set the bar high for all others.

I'd say that this movie was slightly better than middling. That's because while it has a really intriguing plot and characters, the way it was executed was a bit sloppy. I know that this is a relatively old movie, but you could just tell that the special effects were fake, like Winnifred Sanderson's magic. Albeit that all of that though, there were still reasons why this movie wasn't bad. For example, the way they were talking was funny because nobody says, 'thee' or 'thou art' anymore. Also, the actors were very good ones and really convinced you that they were three witches. Three witches with very distinct personalities, which was another reason why I enjoyed the movie, Winnifred the realistic and leader of the three, Sarah the musical and a bit childish blonde one, and Mary Sanderson the sister who always was there for Winnifred and comforted her. I would recommend this movie for people in search of a good Halloween movie and people ages 8+! Overall it was not the worst movie, but it still could have been better.

I think that this was a well-written, expressive book! The three main characters fit together like pieces in a puzzle: Goldie, a caring bubbly talkative girl, Red, a slightly grouchy but magical (literally!) girl, Red's gran, who's also a bit grumpy, but an expert on all things magic. In this sublime storyline, Red needs a cure for her ill Granny, and a Dwarf gives her some information. Meanwhile, a hunter named Horst is trying to kill a wolf, who happens to be with Red. The Wolf and Red bond, Horst is just a tad too out-of-the-ordinary, and Granny is slowly getting sicker and sicker. I think that this book was exceptional, and I've read a ton of books that have put twists on fairy tales, but this one really stood out to me because the plot was so interesting and exquisite. The end tied it all together really well, with no loose ends. I'd recommend this book for fairytale lovers (Like me!), people who are 7+, and people looking for a fascinating, moving, and memorable book.

I think that the best word to describe this magnetic-like story is: Evocative. A fusion between sad, sad, sad, and hard-earned hope, this book will make anyone with a working emotional system feel like they were living with the Baudelaires on those miserable days. Mr. Poe sends the Baudelaires to Prufrock Preparatory School, and the chances of it being a contenting school are slim to none. Thankfully, they meet two siblings who share the Baudelaires brilliance and kindness. Albeit that though, Count Olaf finds them and plans to make their lives downright dreadful. Are big hearts, big smarts, and one definitely big plan good enough to figure out Count Olaf's plan and finally defeat him? Well, read the book to find out! I would recommend this book for 7+, because it may not be that long, but the author uses big words that little-er kids might not understand well. Overall, I really liked this book and would rate it 5 stars.

Roald Dahl's unique style of writing is very enjoyable. This book was refreshingly different and funny. The Twits, though married, play nasty tricks on each other. The Twits are ugly people with downright dreadful actions. So of course, enter the innocent characters Muggle-Wumps and family, who get abused. Then one day a Roly-Poly bird visits them, and changes everything. Will The Twits ever get what they deserve? I'd recommend this book for ages 6+, people who like pranks, and Roald Dahl.
