Now that Truly Lovejoy’s father has been injured by an IED in Afghanistan and is having trouble finding work back home, the family moves from Texas to tiny Pumpkin Falls, New Hampshire, to take over Lovejoy’s Books, a struggling bookstore that’s been in the family for one hundred years.
With two older brothers and two younger sisters clamoring for attention, her mother back in school, and everyone up to their eyebrows trying to keep Lovejoy’s Books afloat, Truly feels more overlooked than usual. So she pours herself into uncovering the mystery of an undelivered letter she finds stuck in a valuable autographed first edition of Charlotte’s Web, which subsequently goes missing from the bookshop. What’s inside the envelope leads Truly and her new Pumpkin Falls friends on a madcap treasure hunt around town, chasing clues that could spell danger.

This book was awesome! It was a Christmas gift from my 3rd grade teacher.(I'm in 4th)
This book is an amazing. I know how Truly feels I am also an Amazon. I feel like Truly's father was just frustrated that he couldn't do what he loved anymore. I couldn't put it down. This book was given to me by my fifth grade teacher and I loved it so much and so will anyone how ever read even a word
This book is amazing! I literally can not put this book down! This book is about a girl named Truly and about her life with her crazy family. I suggest this to everyone!!! Big or small! You will not be disappointed!
From the author of the Mother and Daughter Book Club, Absolutely Truly is ABSOLUTELY amazing. They find a first edition copy of Charlotte's Web, and thought it would pay the loan until it went missing. Her Aunt Truly (they call her True) is the co-owner of Lovejoy's Books. Truly Lovejoy and her 4 siblings and parents move to Pumpkin Falls from Texas. They move because they are offered to run the Lovejoy's Bookstore, so their father accepts because he is looking for a job. They move out of their big house, leave their jobs, and head for Pumpkin Falls. Texas was where their relatives lived, and nobody but their aunt was in Pumpkin Falls, so everything was a bit complicating at first. But it was great after, and Truly made true friends. I think this book is worth a 5/5 rating because it really is entertaining and I never actually expected this book to be that good.
Heather Vogel Frederick is an Absolutely Truly amazing writer. I read this book front to back and everything in between, and loved every bit about it. From her famous ancestors to her love for owls, I can relate to and appreciate Truly. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure, mystery, and a just wee bit of romance. This book was AMAZING! Absolutely Truly, cross my heart and hope to fly.
