This creature that looks like a miniature camel is Cindy, a poodle who lives in Yucca Valley , California. Unfortunately for Cindy, her owner Sandra Hartness is a pet hairdresser and dog groomer who seems to get a little carried away when she is grooming her.

Sandra uses harmless dyes, colored chalks and some creative clipping to get Cindy into her various guises. She insists that Cindy doesn't seem to mind at all, and sits patiently sometimes for as long as two hours, while Sandra works her magic.

Besides being a camel, Cindy has also been 'dressed' up as a dragon, peacock, chicken and the American Flag. She once even dressed up as a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object).

The two have been a team since 2000 and are quite famous at dog grooming competitions. They have won several prizes and been featured in many dog grooming magazines.

Of course, when she is not entering competitions, Cindy reverts back to being - well just an ordinary pampered poodle!
