Infinity Ring: A Mutiny In Time is about three kids, Dak, who knows just about everything there is to history, Sera, the group's current science and physics expert, and Riq, the master linguist. They live in a world where an organization called the SQ has total control. One day, Sera and Dak stumble upon the Infinity Ring, a device made by Dak's parents. When Dak, his parents, and Sera venture into the Revolutionary War, Dak and Sera thankfully escape, but Dak's parents are not so lucky. Next, the Hystorians transport (well, kidnap) Dak and Sera to Hystorian headquarters, where they are recruited by two Hystorians, Brint and Mari. The Hystorians tell Dak and Sera that history has gone wrong, and that they must fix the Great Breaks. They meet Riq, a young sixteen-year old Hystorian. But then, out of the blue, a red-haired woman along with the nefarious SQ attack. Brint and Mari hastily give them an SQuare, a device that will help them on their journey. Dak, Sera, and Riq warp to ancient Egypt, then Palos de la Frontera, August 3, 1492. Dak thinks their Break is Christopher Columbus's death, a mutiny done by Raul and Salvador Amanacio. Can these three young Hystorians fix the Break, and stop the SQ? Find out in Infinity Ring: Book One: A Mutiny In Time By James Dashner!

I'm like a nerd of the Infinity Ring series. I just finished book one in fifth grade and I'm currently reading book 2. Hope you can make more!

“’The times, they are a-changin’.” Simply put, this book was INCREDIBLE! It was the essence of a thrilling mystery, but it also had some amazing parts full of adventure and a thirst to find out what happens next! Be prepared to get on a roller-coaster ride with history, science, and danger lurking at every corner! “Infinity Ring: A Mutiny in Time” will be unforgettable once you read it… In this dystopian world ruled by the SQ, two geniuses called Dak and Sera have hope that their world can change for the better. But after they discover a time machine called the Infinity Ring that’s being built by Dak’s parents, Dak and Sera decide to go for a test run with Dak’s parents into the 1700s.. against Dak’s parents’ wishes.. and also smack in the Revolutionary War. That’s when everything started going downhill. Unfortunately, when Dak and Sera finally learned how to return back to the present, Dak’s parents did not teleport with them – which meant that Dak’s parents were lost in history. And it was their job to get them back. It wasn’t long before they were kidnapped by the Historians, a secret society working against the devious SQ. The Historians tell them that history has gone wrong – and the Infinity Ring is the only thing that can fix history and make things right. The Historians enlist Dak and Sera to help them operate the Infinity Ring.. wait. Something’s wrong. Suddenly the Historians’ base is infiltrated, led by the Red Lady who is determined to destroy them all. Dak, Sera, and a young linguist called Riq (along with the SQuare, which gives them clues on how to fix history and what time period they have to go to) is teleported to the time of Christopher Columbus… to help him prevent a mutiny by his own crewmates. Find out in this spellbinding first book of the bestseller series, “Infinity Ring!”

Very nicely written, and surprisingly descriptive and easy to understand for a book on time travel. Not too corny, the drama is well placed.

these are super good books!

A great series. Learn why history has gone wrong and how it can be fixed.

This is a time travel book. Which means it is awesome! I like books with time travel in them, or something relating to the past. That is one reason why I read these books. The books resemble the 39 clues in a way. In this book dark and sera have to save the world. In the 39 clues Dan and Amy have to save the world. Do you see how the infinity ring resembles the 39clues? The books are still very good. Go read this book!
